Orphaned at the young age of six, Valtyr and his grandmother
fled to Prophylaxis to escape his parent’s killers. While it has
been twelve years since his parent’s death, Valtyr still remembers
them vividly, and occasionally longs for the comfort of the family
that had left him. However, he refuses to talk about them, and
often withdraws himself at the mere mention of parents.
No one really knew how Valtyr came about to becoming a Guard.
His eccentric personality as well as his unpredictableness and
instability was thought to have pushed him away from being a
candidate in joining the Prophylaxis Guard. Be that as it may,
Valtyr’s true talents lie in his ability to quickly analyze a situation,
no matter how dire, and rationalize it, despite the growing emotions
of those around him. It was this that allowed him to become a Guard,
although many of his fellow peers do keep an eye on him, just in
case he deviates too much off of his role as a Guard.
Due to his enigmatic persona, Valtyr has very few friends; those that
do somehow get the chance to talk to him are often driven away by
his odd character. One minute he’s sitting in the corner, glaring at
everyone, the next act as if nothing has happened. Thus, Valtyr
can easily and often randomly portray all emotions of the spectrum.
Those that are his close friends know how to respond to his different
moods, and have much more tolerance towards his actions.
