The Rolling Stones Magazine use to be the primier magazine for music news and talk. In fact, it was the primier news and talk period. It was a big thing to be in fornt of the cover. It would mean you have made it. They were at one time the cutting edge, now they look they sold out. My reason for this, because I don't say these kind of things lightly, is that they hardly cover music anymore. It is all about movies, TV shows and current events. Liek take the current issue for example. It has Larry David on it. What does he have to do with music? For me Rolling Stones is not the worth the print it is on. I can use it for other ways other then reading....In the bahtroom!

isn't it the same way for MTV?
it used to be they had a lot of current music there and now it all seems like reality shows and gossip.
maybe we the public are to blame; if that is what sells, it must be what we are eager to buy.
not me tho', and i am ignoring both sources these days.
