Alright, so some may be wondering how kids from across the globe will end up in one spot without long travel delays. I've thought of this yes.
I'm asuming that all of you are familure with the entry way to platform 9 3/4. We're going to have something similar. In each country's capital (for larger countries there are two to three different spots in major cities) there is a designated building that the students will travel to. It'll be something simple such as a shop that muggles won't think much about. The owner of each location will have a key to use on one of the doors that will take the students to a building off the grounds (to prevent intruders). Unless the doors are opened with the proper key they simply lead into a closet or empty room.
Now, for the sorting. While it may seem odd, WWA has a sorting Rock. Yes, a rock. It's about the size ps3, as an example, and the student will approch it and touch the stone with one hand. They may, or may not, hear the stone's voice in their head. However once it has chosen the house it will shout out it's name and change the student's robes to the proper house colors. (you buy plain robes to start with)

I like the rock. I don't know why, but I do. Does it sing?

A singing sorting rock... I'm--I'm sorry, but there was this Dora the Explorer movie that had singing rocks, and when you mentioned singing I just immediately thought of that... *slaps self* DX
