A bright sunday morning, albet hot and humid. The man in charge of watching the arrival station sat in a wooden chair, clicking his tongue irratedly. "Honistly, if they're going to be late they might as well move the arrival day to one they won't be late on..."The old man muttered, looking down the different halls representing different contanints,"Always late.. Always..."

"Really now If you're going to complain that much then you should just ask someone else to watch the doors for you!" A voice laughed from the main entry way. The man turned to see the herbology teacher walking up to him, sleeves of his robes rolled up as allways and slightly long hair pulled back with a ribbon.

"You say that becouse you can come and go as you please,"The grouchy man snorted.

Just as the potions teacher had said that a blond haired kid with a cowlick bust through a door that was labeled 'United States of America.' Oh he was so absolutely stocked for this year of school. God it was gonna be awesome. "Yo everyone--!" He stopped and looked around. "Where is everyone?"

Oh god it was that kid. That annoying little blonde kid that just had to scream and barge in and absolutely destroy any form of peace. Arthur pinched the bridge of his nose and groaned quietly. Just a few more years, just a few, and that kid would be out of his hair once and for all. He waved a hand, gesturing for the kid to come over, and prepped up the normal scolding. Honestly, Alfred was the only student who he used it on...Most everyone was well behaved.

Arthur had opened his mouth to scold the boy, but as soon as he'd heard that....He closed it and swallowed all harsh words, groaning internally. How ridiculous, silenced by the mere thought of Alfred's home life. Lots of kids experienced a broken home, it was nothing new or special nowadays. But god damn it if that face of his didn't make you feel some kind of sadness.

"I'm sorry to hear that Alfred," he started, eyes averted from the blonde, "If you need to talk, my door is always open."

"Can we talk right now then? I..I haven't been able to talk to any one i know in a while." He said and adjusted the heavy luggage he was carrying on his shoulder. "If you don't mind...I know how much i bother you sometimes."

When Alfred heard his brother's voice...his body froze. he knew it wasn't his brothers fault but it hurt anyways. He turned around and nodded. "Oh. Hey bro...haven't seen you in a while..." He looked to Arthur and back to Mattie. "I...I have to go..."

"Good to see you Matthew, sorry to hear the news. You know I am here if you need anything, especially for one of the few students who pays attention in class." The blonde smiled to the quieter boy and then looked around the room. For goodness sake, these two were the only to show up so far? If Alfred was the first student here, it must be a sign of impending doom. But...so long as no one else was here, he didn't see why he couldn't leave. The Brit noted other capable adults and smirked. Let them deal with the others.

"Fine, come along Alfred."

Arthur stopped walking for a moment and glanced back to the younger but, to his unhappiness, taller boy. He didn't want people knowing because he didn't want attention? Wait, no, scratch that...He didn't want that kind of attention. The Potions teacher rubbed the back of his head and sighed before nodding.

"Right right, I suppose to classroom would be out of the question then. The echo is dreadful. Perhaps somewhere outside?"
