Rustboro City
DESCRIPTION - This metropolis is the third largest city in Hoenn! The buildings here are designed with stone, giving is an old-town feel, as well as making it an unusual and unique cityscape.
LOCATION - Western Hoenn.
PEOPLE - The third largest city in all of Hoenn, behind Lillycove and Slateport, Rustboro has a population of around 57!

Pokemon Center - Unlike most towns, the Pokemon Center is quite a ways away from the Pokemon Gym! Just walk south-west from the Gym and you should be able to spot it... It is on the lower western part of the center of the city... I hope that doesn't sound confusing...
Pokemon Mart - Just your standard PokeMart! This one is located just south of the Pokemon Center... but once again, it is quite the walk from the Pokemon Gym.
Pokemon Gym - Home to Roxanne and her Rock-type Pokemon. You will have to best her to receive your very own "Stone Badge"; the first official badge on your Pokemon journey.
Devon Corporation - The Devon Corporation is a large company that makes its home here, in Rustboro. You can't really miss the place, the building is the biggest one in the city! Most of the locals just call it "Devon", though... it is kinda wordy to say the full name, I suppose. This building is the large stone building on the north-western part of town. Devon is known for making useful products for Pokemon Trainers; it's even responsible for making the Pokeballs you get here, in Hoenn! They even have a process to revive fossilized Pokemon! "For all your living needs, we make it all!"
Pokemon Trainer School - Also known as the Pokemon Academy, it is located right next to the Rustboro Gym. This is where "students can learn all about the world of Pokemon". The motto here is "Go forth together with me, friend." Roxanne, the city's Gym Leader, is one of the teachers here, and she promotes the cooperation between the students and teaches them to not compete with each other, but to learn and grow with each other as friends. She also promotes good interactions between humans and Pokemon. Here, you can take classes in: Nursing, Battling, Contests, and even beginner courses.
Rusturf Tunnel - This is the tunnel between Rustboro City and Verdanturf Town, hence the name. Construction of this tunnel was originally started by the Devon Corporation when they were under the leadership of Mr. Stone in order to link Rustboro to the other larger cities of Hoenn (Slateport and Mauville). It was nearly completed until Mr. Stone realised that the construction was causing discomfort to the local Whismur that were there, so the project was canceled.
MYTH/LORE - It is said that when the city needed to expand due to the growth of population, the cutter used his Pokemon to cut away the trees to expand the city. Not really a myth... since I'm sure that this is possible... but it sounds mystical, doesn't it?
