Bots
If you win you may choose between the two bots below. They are both fires type bots and Rare Bots.
User Image User Image
The first bot, on the left, is the rare-type Helio-bit. Heliobit evolves into the powerful Abraxas. It was mainly created with excess flame igniters. Helio-bit's skill is Break of Dawn. This skill allows it to add to it's HP for 3 turns. On right you will see the rare-type Xi-bit. Xi-bit evolves into a draconic bot called Xiuhcoatl. It has fuel injectors, along with some gravity defiers and hover bits, which allows the bot to float through the air. Xi-bit's skill is called Dragon's Smoke, where it does x10 more damage to the number rolled. Both of these bots are fire type.

Prompts
o1. Oh no, one of the other bots has decided you did something wrong to it. Time to settle this problem in the battle dome or is it? Do you go and fight or do you run away? How does it all end?

o2. All the fire bots have gone out to play and left the engine room without power. How can you lure them back and maintain the ship's order?

o3. You and your bot spouse have finally gathered the connecter input and connecter output. But, when you go to see Gil, he shoos you away. Do you give up on wanting a young bot? Do you pursue Gil more aggressive? Do you attempt to use the items without Gil?

o4. When you're exploring the ship, you wander across a sealed storage area, but have no way of knowing what's inside. Will you let all your bot friends know? Do you ask one of the older, wiser bots what's inside? Perhaps you just note it down and will come back later. [For this prompt, there is no way to actually enter the sealed storage area.]

Entry :: Feng had only been wandering about in the hallway, when another bot bumped into him. Feng dipped his head in apology and was ready to go on his way when the other bot stepped in his way, blocking his path.

Confused, Feng blinked, wondering what the matter could be, but before he could open his mouth to ask, the bot shook, whistling out steam as a testament of his anger.

“You…Y-you…” it seethed. “I caught you eyeing my girl!”

At this, Feng was taken aback. What… what in the world was this bot talking about?

“I have no idea what you are talking about, sir,” he replied. “I have no romantic interest in any of the bots here, so I don’t possibly see how I could be hitting on your girl…”

The comment didn’t seem to resolve matters, but only made the other bot seem more frustrated as it bounced around, popping a few screws here and there.

“You sayin’ she ain’t pretty enough for ya, huh, huh? That what you tryin’ to say?”

Feng grew more exasperated. Was this bot purposely trying to pick a fight?

“Look here,” he started. “I’m sure she’s real pretty and all, but-”

He couldn’t even finish his sentence before watching the bot become more and more agitated. ‘I’m outta here,’, he thought, but once again, the bot blocked his path.

“What do you want?” he growled, losing his temper. This bot was just getting on his nerves now. “You want to fight? Huh? Fight over some stupid imaginary girlfriend who I have no idea who it is and you think I’m hitting on, huh?”

At this, the bot seemed slightly taken back, but it stood its ground. “Y-yeah! Let’s settle this with a fight. L-like real bots!”

Without a word, both bots headed towards the battledome, their gaze locked, not daring to let the other out of their sight. Only when they reached the battledome did the other bot start to hop around enthusiastically, as if it were itching for a brawl. Somehow, Feng felt that the whole “girlfriend” issue was made-up, and that the bot was only looking for someone to fight, but there was no way he could worm out of this now. He didn’t want to look like a coward in front of the other bot… even if he really didn’t want to fight right now.

The two eyed each other, hostility in the air. Feng glared at the other bot, as if willing it to make the first move, and it did, as it lunged forward, seeming to glow with the heat of a thousand suns. Quickly, he tried to dodge, but the bot managed to nick him on the side, causing some parts to break off. Though he felt no pain, Feng growled, and he himself lunged at the offending bot. He ended up missing, but before the bot could get in another attack, Feng breathed out smoke, clouding the other bot’s vision.

While the other bot stumbled about, Feng flew over, swinging his tail as hard as he could, knocking the bot off to a far corner and hitting a wall, bits and parts flying off. The bot stumbled and tried to get up, but it only ended up collapsing.

Having pity on it, Feng floated over and looked down on the bot, a sorry mess.of broken scrap metal and screws. He reached out a hand, and the bot reached up and took it, with the only spare hand it had. Dragging the bot to it’s fee-er, boosters, the other bot smiled softly.

“T-thanks for fighting with me…” he replied, voice faint. It was then Feng finally understood. The bot… just felt lonely and wanted a sparring partner. He watched as the bot stumbled off, making its way towards the exit.

Left alone in the battledome, Feng closed his eyes in quiet contemplation. That… really was a strange way to make a friend. A soft sparking sound caught his attention, and he opened his eyes to look at the damage the other bot had done to him.

He heaved a heavy sigh. Gil… was not gonna be happy about this.

Entry ::
Rua and Jyss had finally, after much saving and searching, gathered the needed parts for making baby bots. Unfortunately, when they contacted Gil about it he simply grunted and waved them away. Jyss was much distraught, fearing she'd never have any little ones. Rua took it upon himself to find a way to get Gil to accept, or a way for them to do it alone.

First Rua saved as much money, scrap parts and metal as he could. After amassing a sizable pile he again approached Gil.

"Please, before you tell me to go away just listen. I have a large bribe for you, if you'll make baby bots for me an Jyss." Rua pleads.

Gil, who had been about to shoo the other bot away pauses and listens. "Well if you won't mind waiting your turn-"

Rua doesn't wait to hear the rest and interrupts Gil. "Really!? Thank you!" he turns to leave but then stops as something finally registers. "How many others are before us?" He asks.

Gil pauses a moment to run through his list. "Seventy-five very lucky pairs, each getting two or three babies."

Rua droops, so many bots to build before he and Jyss have a chance. "Alright, thank you." Rua heads off to tell his mate.

After hearing the news both bots settle into sleep-mode. Neither get much rest, though, as both try and think of a way to have babies with out Gil. In the morning Rua is getting ready to go out, thinking if he can increase the bribe Gil might jump them close to the beginning of the list.

Jyss stops him first, to talk about an idea she has. "We could try and make our own babies. We have enough spare parts to create a chassis and the items needed to mingle our personalities. We even have some basic knowledge on how to create a chassis."

Rua shakes his head. "True but we have no idea how to get a personality into the chassis. If we mess up then it could be an even longer wait while we try to replace the connecter input and connecter output. They aren't common, or cheap to get."

"True.. but we are number 76 on Gil's list." Jyss says.

"Yes but on Gil's list we have a guaranteed chance. On our own it is very iffy if we will succeed." Rua replies before heading off to gather more scrap. The next few months are spent in much the same way. Every day Rua goes to gather scraps and every day Jyss asks if they can try on their own. Every other week or two Rua stops by to see Gil, and tells him about the bigger bribe. And every week Gil refuses to move their place, telling him to be content with a spot.

It's in this manner that the time goes by and one day when Rua goes to ask Gil to accept the bigger bribe for a better spot he gets a surprise.

"Ahh, I was just going to send for you and Jyss. It's your turn." Gil tells Rua.

Rua perks up and grins. "Really? Well I'll go get Jyss and the rest." he says, even as he's walking back out the door.

"Jyss gather the connecter input and connecter output and as much of the bribe as you can carry!" Rua shouts when he gets home. "Gil says it's our turn." Quickly he starts loading the bribe into bags. While he does this Jyss carefully puts the connecter input and connecter output into a box. It takes several trips, but all the scraps and money are finally delivered to Gil. While they wait for Gil to start the two lovers talk about how their children might be.
