 Calvin stood tall on the top of the hill; a chilling breeze lurked around. Staring boundlessly over the bottom of the hill, he clenched his thick, sillver chain necklace. In its grasp, you would think that it would shatter. Calvin had come across new land, as though he was the north wind traveling freely, so he enclosed his chain in his fist. He could sense other demigods nearby, but didn't bother to look for them.
One of them was bound to stumble upon his uncanny presense.

 Natalie walked up the hill and she looked at Calvin. "Hi" she greeted him. Then she looked around. "What'cha doing up here?" Natalie asked him.

Calvin faced the girl who approached him. He glanced at the area just as she did.
"Trying to figure out why a girl like you would be hanging around a place like this."
He shook his head, slightly laughing.
"Kidding. I just come and go, from place to place."

Natalie smiled. "Well, you better stay 'cause this is the only safe place for us" she said. "Though I don't need protection" she grumbled afterward. Natalie looked at the guy. "Oh yeah, I'm Natalie. Daughter of Ares" she stuck out her hand to shake.

Calvin looked down to her hand. He couldn't recall the last time he shook someone's hand. He put his hand in his pocket, and with the other one, he shook her hand loosely.
"Name's Calvin. Son of Boreas."
More like knucklehead.
"Safe isn't a part of my vocabulary."
Calvin looked towards the sky, his breath freezing as the fog carried out.

Natalie shook his hand firmly. Afterwards, her hand felt cold, so she stuffed it in her pockets. "I don't care if I'm safe or not. I can always fight" she held up a fist with the hand that wasn't in her pocket. "I just stick around for my friends and to train"

"Sounds like words of Ares."
Calvin looked back down to Natalie, with eyes like frost. He began to think that she was getting cold. Calvin didn't mind the cold weather. He smirked, biting his tongue and said something a bit teasingly.
"You look cold. Not expected from a kid of Ares."

Natalie blushed. She glared at him and took a breath in. She looked away and "I'm never expected of an Ares kid. Just because I'm scrawny and I look nothing like Ares or any of the other Ares kids. It sucks. Never tell anyone else this EVER, but the other Ares kids call me Lion Cub. I'm fierce on the inside, but on the outside.....well, I'm hopeless" she shrugged. "I'm used to it though and I get revenge every now and then" Natalie smirked at the word 'revenge'.

Calvin snickered slightly. He whistled a bit and slipped his chain into his pocket.
"How cute. What are you, eleven?"
He winked.

Natalie lared at Calvin and threatened "You snicker again and you won't be able to snicker again" she sighed. "I'm 16, thank you very much" Natalie said without catching the wink.

Calvin was a bit surprised. Natalie was pretty feisty.
"Back-talking much, Lion Cub?"
He teased, blowing a raspberry.
"And, just so you know,"
Calvin leaned in a bit, right by her ear and spoke with a whisper like the wind,
"You have attitude, girl. I like attitude."

Natlie blushed lightly, but them her face turned pale. "Don't ever say that again" she said quietly. One guy told her that, but he broke her heart in a billion different ways and he stomped on it and abused it. Ever since then, she pummeled any guy who said that.

Calvin sulked. After what he said, he noticed how Natalie got a bit quiet. With all the tricks up his clever sleeve, he said,
"You're shy, too? You switch sides like a Gemini."

"First of all, I'm never shy. Two, I'm a Sagittarius. Not a Gemini" she returned her composure and threatened again "You talk about my atitude again and I'll beat you down" she glared at Calvin, then looked at camp once again with her eyes narrowed.
