Here are the Daily Decklist that I will post up
All discussion for the Decks are Open 3nodding
Every now and then I will come across a Decklist that I Fancy. This thread is almost the same as how the MTG website does theirs. There will also be a paragraph to explain the general deck. ONLY I WILL POST THE DECKLISTS, if you wish to discuss a certain decklist PM me. I will even give you credit for finding it if I post it on here.
The main Idea of this thread is to show people certain Decks and discuss why some cards are good and how the combination of cards work. It is to HELP you guys deckbuild(see Below***). Decks will range from Casual environment to competitive formats, and even Drafts and Sealed decklists
Once a NEW Decklist is posted PLEASE try to keep all new posts on THAT deck, you are allowed to compare it to other decks and what not. if you wish to discuss about a Prior Decklist, Please say what deck you are talking about on your post.
*** I do defend the decks for the sake of information. I don't argue to be mean, I do debate and try to get people who read this to see both sides of the coin, however It MIGHT come off as me being an a**. I wont say(and i dont think) that I am the best magic player in the world or in this guild. But I do think I have enough experience in high level competitive play and I don't want people dismissing a card because it doesn't seem good alone. I like to explain why things work the way they do.

Daily Decklist 1 U/B Control A Standard Magic deck, by Ali Aintrazi
Artifact Creatures 3 Solemn Simulacrum
Creatures 2 Consecrated Sphinx 2 Grave Titan
Instants 1 Consume the Meek 1 Dismember 3 Doom Blade 1 Go for the Throat 1 Into the Roil 4 Mana Leak
Planeswalkers 4 Jace Beleren 1 Karn Liberated 1 Liliana Vess
Sorceries 1 Black Sun's Zenith 1 Despise 4 Inquisition of Kozilek 4 Preordain
Basic Lands 4 Island 5 Swamp
Lands 4 Creeping Tar Pit 4 Darkslick Shores 4 Drowned Catacomb 1 Mystifying Maze 4 Tectonic Edge
Sideboard: 1 Peace Strider 1 Wurmcoil Engine 1 Volition Reins 2 Disfigure 3 Flashfreeze 1 Surgical Extraction 1 Black Sun's Zenith 1 Despise 2 Duress 1 Memoricide 1 Praetor's Grasp
Ali Aintrazi outdid himself in this one, getting 1st place at a Nationals tournament in Indianapolis. He was able to Compete in a format ruled by Splitter-twin, Valakut, and Caw-blades. Turn 1 Opening to his 8 spells of Preordain or Inquizitions. second turn letting him relax for mana leaks and destroy effects. Even turn 3 gives him a chance to play his Jaces to gain him card advantage. Solumn leads him to his win contitions such as Grave titan or the sphinx(which draws him 3 cards with the +1 of jace) the next turn. if he needs an Answer right away Miss Vess can appear to give him a continuous use of Black Sun Zenith. Also being one of the ONLY decks to actually Top with Karn. This Decklist differently pushed for "card advantage means I win"

Daily Decklist 2 Elves A Standard Magic deck, by Xinlin Ye
Maindeck:
Creatures 1 Acidic Slime 4 Arbor Elf 4 Copperhorn Scout 4 Elvish Archdruid 4 Fauna Shaman 4 Joraga Treespeaker 4 Llanowar Elves 4 Vengevine
Legendary Creatures 4 Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Sorceries 4 Green Sun's Zenith 4 Lead the Stampede
Basic Lands 19 Forest
Sideboard: 1 Wurmcoil Engine 1 Acidic Slime 2 Obstinate Baloth 4 Leyline of Vitality 2 Beast Within 2 Naturalize 1 Melira, Sylvok Outcast 2 Creeping Corrosion
Elves seem to show is nasty head again as shown by Xinlin Ye at the Pro Tour Qualifier tournament in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Able to turn 1 four of his play set elves. Even after a wrath ability, the ability to replenish his hand and almost hit 3 creatures consistently due to his very very low land count. also his 4 greensun zeniths makes vengevine an even bigger powerhouse and gives him access to 4 extra copies of Ezuri . it shows exactly what Elves should be, Fast to get out and breed like rabbits. the Leyline of Vitality are even able to keep RED Deck Wins from even coming close to this deck. Copperhorn Scout can even help you push for that extra overrun mana or even regeneration mana. Truely a very well put deck. and CAN compete with the new Caw-blade metagame.

The deck seems good, but it's missing some cards any elf decks should be running, especially with a Wurmcoil in the sideboard. Oracle of Mul Daya should see at least one copy in this deck, if not a playset. Naturalize's should be in the sideboard, if not, then Slice in twain. He shouldn't be running Llanowar Elves if he's not trying to Ramp/Aggro. They're decent One drops, but still. The deck could be a ton better.

I disagree with you saying it could be a ton of better (with the current standard this exact Elves decklist got first in this pro tour), but i do think it could be tweeked..
Natrualize is already in the sideboard, the Greensun able to search for Acidic slimes is very good and acts just like Slice in twain, still giving you board position where as Slice in twain requires you to play itself, and wait next turn to play the just drawn card from Slice in twain. The concept of this version of elves is almost like tribal-legacy Elves, running cheap cards to Overrun. Fauna shaman + vengevine is always good and has been the "combo" that most Elf Deck use.
I think Oracle of Mul Daya wouldn't do to well seeing as the deck only runs 19 lands. it would be acting like a bear most of the time. muldyal needs 26 lands to be relevent, one copy wouldnt be too bad because of the 4 greensuns though.
Although I do agree with you that Llanowar elves shouldnt be in decks that are not ramping or aggroing, i think you missed the Copperhorn Scout Plus Ezuri, Renegade Leader which gives the deck it's aggressiveness being able to regenerate your elf with itself is very relevent. the combo pieces are pretty easy to get together with 4 greensuns. also Copperhorn with elvish archdruid is Super bonkers.
I do think he is relying too much on lead the stampede, just like legacy elves with Emurkul, you can't really keep a hand without Lead the stamped or you run out of gas, like Glimpse of nature in legacy. (glimp of nature got banned in modern D:!)

This deck can be defeated so easily though. I don't see how people lost to him.

pretty much a lack of sideboard for Elves along with the Overrun abbility that can stack lets him win out on turn 4 more consistently than cawblade. most people use sideboard for valakute, cawblade, splitertwin, and RB vampires which sees more play than others. its not like this deck will keep winning like cawblade or valakute
