Driftveil City

DESCRIPTION - A major ocean port city in western Unova, Drifteveil City is used by freighters and fishing boats that import and export goods in and out of Unova. The strong wind currents here make it popular with sailboaters. There is a large market here that offers useful items from all over the world! Driftveil City is also known as the "gateway" to the Unova Region.
LOCATION - Located in the western part of Unova.
PEOPLE - A rather large city with a population of 55, Driftveil also houses a couple of trainers always ready to battle as well as Sailors and traders from around the world.
RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
Pokemon Mart/Center - Located near the center of the city, it is, for the most part, the closest building to the Gym, for good reason. This Pokemon Center is different from other centers, because it treats more than just Pokemon! Due to the nature of the gym, the Pokemon Center had to be converted in order to take all kinds of patients, Pokemon and Human.
Pokemon Market - The Pokemon Market is where merchants from all over the world try to sell their wares to the people of Unova. Here, you can buy things like Herbal Medicine, Moomoo Milk, and even different kinds of incense! Definitely a place to check out on your Pokemon Journey!
Pokemon Gym - The official Gym of Driftveil City, currently run by Naomi Sunderson and located in the North-eastern-most part of the city with a lovely view of the lighthouse and Driftveil Drawbridge. The gym, in years passed, was once a mining-themed Gym with Clay, the Ground-type specialist as it's Gym Leader. After seeing Naomi battle, he chose her as his successor, even though their Pokemon were of different types. The Gym was soon converted into a Water-type Gym, taking on the look of a Greek Bathhouse. Statues of mermaids with weapons line the walls with one larger statue at the far end of the Gym. You are given a dagger upon entry? For what, you ask? Well, there is a reason the Pokemon Center was converted to a hospital. If you can best Naomi and her Water-typed warriors, you will be awarded the Maelstrom Badge and TM55, Scald.
Cold Storage - On the southern part of Driftveil, there is an area of warehouses holding goods to be exported. Inside the largest of the warehouses, you can find some more trainers willing to battle you. Watch your step, though, since the floors are frozen over and can be extremely slippery. Ice-type Pokemon can be found here, as well.
MYTH/LORE - Nothing much to say about the town itself, but if you talk to the merchants, I'm sure they have more than a few interesting tales to tell.
