STRENGTH TRAINING -
Includes Yoga,Pilates or Toning exercises

CROSS TRAINING -
Any other exercise that doesn't include using your walking/running muscles. Can be Swimming,Cycling etc.

SPEED 1 -
Here is where you will burn a bunch of calories. Warm up for 1 mile; do a hard run for 1/2 a mile then an easy 1/2 mile then a hard 1/2 mile. Cool down 1/2 to 1 mile.

SPEED 2 -
Warm up for one mile than alternate two hard minutes with two easy minutes for 1 mile. Cool down 1/2 to 1 mile.

- If you are a beginner when it comes to exercising, spend the first week walking.
-Don’t push yourself, or you’ll burn out.
-Always make sure to warm up before you exercise [and stretch!] and cool down after your exercise.
- 5k = 3 miles
- 10k = 6.2 miles
- Half marathon = 13.1 miles
