After making his way through Icirrus City again, Landon found himself at the base of Dragonspiral Tower. He looked up at the crumbling structure, taking in the awe-inspiring view. "Hm... doesn't seem like anyone else is here..." he said to himself. He had heard that there had been suspicious people lurking around this area, which made him a tad nervous considering it was right next to his city. However, he had never seen any of these shady characters, and mostly wrote it off as rumor... mostly. The Ground-typer shrugged off any uneasy feelings, then proceeded into the tower.

Almost immediately after stepping into the dank structure, he was greeted by several Golett, seemingly curious in the human. They kept their distance, though, which Landon was more than grateful for. However, as the brown-haired Gym Leader made his way further into the tower, loud footsteps could be heard, and the group of Automaton Pokemon scattered away to hide. Landon braced himself, waiting for the creature to appear. Then, from out of the shadows, a tough looking Druddigon appeared, obviously upset about Landon's presence in the tower. The Dragon-type roared angrily, then charged at the human.

The Druddigon was intercepted, however, by the large arms of Landon's Golurk, Sampson. The Golurk loomed over the dragon, nearly twice its size, and growled in a threatening manner. The Striaton native shook his head, then pointed at the wild Pokemon. "Alright, Sampson. Teach this brute a lesson it won't forget!"
