I've been wanting to post this thread for a while, but I wanted to get warmed up first. Okay, so here goes:
I left gaia for a year. A year, just a year, just 12 months, just 52 weeks and stuff has changed. What happened to Rina (that little girl who used to sell flowers)? She's grown up so fast... and now she's selling pastries?? Of what use is food to our avis?
Oh, and.. is it just me or has the posting stuff changed? Now I don't know how to change the color of my text like I always used to do. >.> (I bet none of you miss my annoying coloring, but I sure do!)
But what I find pretty neat is that they give you more money for posting smile The perfect thing for lazy gold-loving poor gaians like moi biggrin
So.. what else is new? ~

The coloring is still the same?
I always just did with the color's name then [/color ] at the end.
But you can use that 'A' that's blue on the top, about the emoticons, right above 'Add Media' and it will type the code for you. :3

I think Rina is cute now, though ; u;" A bit annoying, yes, but cute nonetheless ;DD
Oh, and the best method for earning pixel monies would be to start an art shop. With your talent, I'm sure you'd be loaded with gold in no time.
Well, at least that's how I managed to earn my money anyways... People overprice art way too much in Gaia - just take advantage of that. LOL.

Wish I could. Sadly, I don't own a tablet crying It takes me way too long to draw with a mouse. Customers would get impatient.
Btw, what's a cookie? neutral I've got notices that I've received one.

I think I read about the cookies in one of the announcements a few weeks ago.
The more actively you post (or something like that), you get cookies. You're supposed to be collecting them in order to buy special, exclusive items in the future events Gaia is preparing. Well, at least that's what I remember of them.
And, now that I think about it, I haven't gotten any cookies either ; __; Why so discriminating, Gaia?
About the art... Normally, the price for good quality art (like a bust-shot) can go up to 200k. It's crazy. Once, I needed gold really badly because I was on a CI spree and was bankrupt. So I went to the art forums and told them to make offers for ugly, sketchy head shots. I am not kidding you when I say they were in the 50k zones - _-; I even got bribed 700k for a full-body once. Gaia's inflation is out of control... not that I'm complaining, of course ;DDD Who doesn't like pixel monies?

Would it work to just scan the drawing and edit it a little that way, cause those tablets are expensive. surprised
Ahh..I remember when good art was at 50k..hell, I bought one at 2k..good idea though, that art business.. (yes i'm old spirited)
