Most ska bands, even these days have an instrumental or two. Third wavers may be more familiar with Catch 22's and RBF's. But, The Skatalites, and many other first wavers have instrumentals.
The Skatalites have made one of my favorites, but I can't recall it's title. However the most underrated third wave instrumental in my opinion is "Victory Over Peter Bones (The Legend of Alan Guile Versus Peter Bones)" by RBF. But, You must have a favorite, or at least heard some. I mean, LGB is almost entirely instrumentals. So, got a favorite?

does king hammond count? alot of what he does just has like a saying or something over and over there pretty good, i cant pick one specific song but just bands, and the skatalites are probably one of the best for instrumentals (being that maybe 5 songs of theres aren't)

you mentioned my favorite!
"Victory Over Peter Bones (The Legend of Alan Guile Versus Peter Bones)" Yeah it makes me very happy. I listen to it a lot when I'm walking home from the bus. After so many times I can tell what part of the song is coming up from where I am. Example: I always start skanking when I trn the corner because I know that a really fun horn part is coming heart

Mmm, I'm not super fond of instrumentals, but One Step Beyond (can that be counted?) is awesome. Victory over Peter Bones, too. And uhh Gay Rude Boys Unite (Instrumental) is another one I like. 3nodding

5ubliminalM355ag35 I don't know if it counts, but the intro to the BOTAR CD is all instrumental. lol Hooray, BOTAR!! I love instrumentals. Sometimes lyrics just serve as a distraction from the actual music of a song.
