So, if you are interested in things Greek or Egyptian (and I think we have a few people who fit that description) this might interest you. And you don't need to know Any Greek to help out.

It was linked to me by a friend on another forum. I have no idea where he found it.
Now me, I plan on wasting spending many hours playing with this. I just wish Icould be in the same thing as the actual physical pieces.

I miss my mythology class... I wish the college I go to had more than just Intro to Mythology and I knew where my external hard drive is that I used for that class I'd have the afterlife section for my Kemeticism thread.

Yeah, I was looking at the syllabus and I'm slightly annoyed by the fact that it's mostly Greek and Roman mythology. There's one day a piece for Norse and Egyptian. The rest is Greek, Roman, or general.

Atleast you touch on Norse. We didn't at all. Though we did read some Native American myths though. But our class was a general overview. It was like "Here's creation and what these people say. Here's the Great Flood and what these people say. Oh yeah can't forget about the afterlife. This is what these people say about it." I was only able to dive deeper into Egyptian mythology because for our huge assignment we had to take on of the topics we covered(or were going to cover if we choose to present right before midterms) and dig deeper into one of the myths. So I chose the afterlife.
Oh wait. We did touch Norse. But that was only because a couple people did their huge assignment on Ragnarok.

Damnit! I would love some non-European mythology.

I can list the books we used for the semester if you want. I'd post the handouts on the extra Native American mythology that we studied but I think I lost them. sweatdrop

Ooh, that's cool. I studied the Ancient Greeks in high school but I've always loved the mysteries of Ancient Egypt - so much so that when I was little I decided I wanted to be mummafied when I eventually died. I was kinda morbid I guess... sweatdrop I'll have to have a better look tomorrow when it's not so late.
