Here are some keyboard shortcuts to help you in writing your novel! If you have any more

Memorize, rinse and repeat!:
SHIFT+ARROW KEYS
Highlights words within the sentence letter by letter.
SHIFT+CTRL+RIGHT OR LEFT ARROW KEY
Highlights words within a sentence word by word (will not go up unless CTRL key is lifted)
SHIFT+HOME/END
Highlights the entire line of words
SHIFT+CTRL+HOME/END
Highlights entire line of words from where you started the shortcut to either HOME or END
CTRL+A
Highlights entire document
CTRL+B
Bold the highlighted word or document
CTRL+C
Copies the highlighted word or phrase etc.
CTRL+I
Italicizes the highlighted word or document
CTRL+N
Create a new document
CTRL+F
Search for a word within the document
CTRL+U
Underlines the highlighted word or document
CTRL+V
Pastes what has been copied
CTRL+X
Cuts AND copies selected work (one of the most mislabeled shortcuts)
CTRL+Z
Undo
CTRL+SHIFT+Z
Undo the undo (confusing? Very useful!)
TAB
Indent sentence/paragraph
CTRL+PAGE UP/DOWN
Goes through pages of the document (better than using the sidebar)
CTRL+HOME
Goes to the beginning of a document
CTRL+END
Goes to the end of a document
