WELCOME, EVERYONE!
Hi, everyone! The name is coolkid__68. I'm gonna be your captain of your guild! I am very pleased that you have read this. The guild guide is a very important aspect in the foundation of a guild! And I feel that every member or potential member should read this, first off. Now, the following are a set of rules that I expect you to follow. We all have some form of rules that we have to follow, unfortunately. Whether they're easy to follow or just plain cruel. Mine however are common sense rules that I feel you need to read.
My rules are organized in two categories. They are the "Normies" and the "Not-so-Normies". The Normies differ from the "NSN", obviously. The Normies have a simplistic three strike rule format. If you violate the Normies three times, you get banned for a period of 14 or more days. When you're scheduled quota is up, you can rejoin and become active, again, in your guild life. However, the "NSN" rules are the rules, that no matter what happens, you get banned immediately. The first strike will become your last! There will be no chance in rejoining the guild, for you will get on "The List". "What is 'The List'," you say? Unless you are crew or above, you will never know! ...Plus it is kinda self-explanatory.
((The Normies aren't marked at all. Where as the "NSN", are marked. You'll notice two asterisks [**] to the right of the "NSN" rules.))
RULES
1.) Always respect the Gaia Tos and Rules and Guidelines.**
You will be reported for any violation that occurs. Gaia spent their time and energy writing their rules, and it's unfortunate for you to undermine them. Sure, there might be repeats from their rules in our set, but it's for further understanding. Again for clarification...: YOU WILL BE REPORTED.
2.) Please be respectful.
Politeness is always a good thing for a safe guild. We understand having fun and joking around, but don't do anything too extreme.
3.) Please don't harass your fellow guild members.**
Anyone found harassing a guild member gets kicked out. End of story.
4.) Keep romance extremely filtered.**
Anyone caught cybering gets the boot. A majority of Gaians feel that it is very uncomfortable to read. Plus it's very inappropriate to read. Why would you even cyber, to some degree, on a fan club specific guild?
5.) Omit any text that might spoil the game.
Everyone loves spoiler alerts! So when you need to use them, cover your text with this code:
[color=white]Just use this code. Basic and easy; not much to it.[/color]
6.) Never reveal the contents of exclusive events and etc. Including "The List"!*
This is mainly directed at mods. Anyone that gives away the contents of exclusiveness, will be thrown into the "depths of Tartarus"! No... just kidding. The reason for the one asterisk is for the fact that the mods will get either demoted or become basic members.
7.) Please keep explicit content to yourself! That's just gross.**
Never post any type of pornographic or gory images on to the forums. This should be considered a universal federal offense. If you post something like that, you will be, not only banned, but reported. Keep the forums clean.
8.) Spam is to be packed in a can. Not posted in our forums.
No one really likes spam. On the other hand, if you are a sadistic psychopath, you might enjoy aggravating your fellow Gaians. That's all I have to say on the subject.
9.) Don't post a topic in the subforums that is of a different topic type.
Ex. Don't post, "Can Someone Help Me With Energy?" in the subforum of Chatterbox. You want to post that topic in the subforum, "Energy, Collectables, Neighbors, and Gifts". If you don't know which topic goes where, ask a fellow guild's member. Or our crew.
RULES THAT DEFY THE THREE STRIKE POLICY
.:THESE RULES DON'T FOLLOW THE THREE STRIKE POLICY:.
1.) Keep your posts a decent size.
It's all right to have long posts, just make sure your images aren't enormously expansive and dominating your post. If it is a relatively large to a gigantic image, make your post a link.
2.) Please be active in your posts.
I have an occasional cleaning day that is scheduled to remove all of those that are inactive in posting in the forums. That day is going to be every September 5th. On each year, the crew will view the recent posting history. If you get removed, you will always have the option of rejoining. This rule defies the three strike rule.
3.) Please make original threads, as much as possible.
We understand if there will be multiple threads of the same topic. Just try to prevent it, as much as possible. You won't get into trouble for this rule. It's just a good suggestion in keeping the forums nice and tidy! (:
4.) Keep 'Guild Announcements' enabled.
Please keep the announcements enabled. There will be updates here and there, and we feel that you should read and catch up on them e.g. changes to rules.
((By clicking the '+ Join' button, you agree that you have read all of the rules clearly and concisely. Anything broken will be resolved with the necessary action. Don't click the button if you haven't read all of the rules. This will be your first warning of action. If you mention that you weren't aware,
we'd call you the dunce of the guild and monitor you. We will only let things slide once, if you just so happen to forget. But those are limited to the specific rule you, god forbid, break.))
.:THIS IS THE END OF THE "RULES". HAVE FUN AND HAPPY POSTING! biggrin :.
