What's your thoughts on Valentine's Day? I think it's stupid. Why should we show how much we love someone else on a specific day? Should we not do that every day? Is it not more romantic if it is spontaneous and not expected? So what do you think?

I agree but there are guys who forget to do random things since they are always busy and have memory issues and are just forgetfully clueles, whom need to have a holiday to remind them 3nodding sweatdrop

I think it is a day for something extra speical, after all, if you do 'valintine' things all year long, it looses it's value.

It does not lose its value! small things through out the year are ppreferable since they are a suprise! or at least thats my opinion... *secretly wish her boyfriend will read this...*

Small things, no, but I was referring to large things; things most would only do on V-day. Such as a romantic dinner at a fancy resterant, champane next to a fire place, murmering sweet nothings while curled up on the couch together.

However, things like remembering your monthly anniversary for 8 years and getting a card each time, as my Mistress's stepfather does to her mother every 14th, those do not get old.

see now i have to disagree on the sweet nothing while curled up on the couch together, that should be done at least once a month if not weekly! blaugh ... fancy dinner yes maybe your right, although it is a nice suprise to get when your having a bad week or something 3nodding ...as for champaign by the fire place, well i have no opinion since Im not one for champaign or drinks of that sort... and the monthly anniversary thing gets very tiring and old in my opinion, my boyfriend used to do that and it was too much... but now he does randomly everyonce in awile giving me cute email (since he cant see me to give me something) or a rose and thats how it should be random not monthly 3nodding whee

I like it. It does give women a time to expect something nice, just in case their significant other is lazy stare
