For those who aren't sure what to do first, perhaps you could tell about yourself? 3nodding Who are you? What do you like? Your pets and peeves? Anything you wish to tell, you're welcome to do so here ^^
Either way, Raven tackleglomps you a warm welcome already =D (Warning: he might do so again)

Let's break the ice...
I'm Raven (not my real name). I'm an old guy of 25 winters living in Belgium. That means I live in the country with the best chocolate, beer and waffles *sage nod* x3 I claim Pisces as my zodiac, which means I'm the sweetest guy you'll meet in your life unless your hubby/wife's a Pisces biggrin (*cough*). And no, I'm not a silly person ninja I'm the eldest, having 5 younger siblings and live on my own. I know from experience what pain life can bring and the needs "IRL" demands from us Gaians. No worries if you're MIA for a bit, just let me know when things get hard.
I'm... a writer of sorts, I guess. I'm not too good in writing stories unlike a few other guild members, but I daresay I'm creative enough to write whole backgrounds and worlds for RP purposes. In fact, I'm trying to create my own tabletop RP, I just lack play-testers x3; Other than that, I'm a poet writing mainly spiritual/emotional poetry.
I like to read, roleplay (Vampire: the Masquerade, Dungeons and Dragons 3.0/3.5, Pathfinder, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Iron Kingdoms), write things, be silly, being evil to my cat, learn about nature (animals and plants), complain about humanity and mosquitos, listen to and solve problems. Since I mentioned spiritual poetry, I'll say that I'm into druidry/shamanism though I'm actually more of a ... channeler of energies and messages in general.
Hm, I think I covered it all. If you still got questions, feel free to ask ^^ On another level, I'm the Guild Captain. If you ever have suggestions or questions on the guild or the crew, feel free to tell me :3

I would like to start out this introduction by saying....Raven....my spouse is a Pisces. rofl rofl rofl
Ahem. Now. My name is Berry, Strawberry, Zombie, Angela or Esh. Most people in this guild are going to call me Esh, so you can feel free to use the same, or any variation of my user name. I'm a crew member of the guild and I also run several of the RPs. I thought I would take the time to tell you a little about myself.
I started RPing when I was still in high school, actually--the old fashioned table top D&D stuff. I stopped RPing for quite some time, but got back into a few years ago, after getting active on Gaia again. Forum based RPs, to me, are sort of like a group writing endeavor. For me, it's all about the writing. I'm not going to be pretentious and say I view myself as a great writer, but I do enjoy it a lot, and I think I can identify the traits of a good writer fairly easily.
My RPs all tend to focus on collaboration and communication. I don't see the point of a bunch of people posting at each other without ever really talking or collaborating beyond their RP posts. That isn't how you build an awesome story, or make friends.
While all my RPs have fantasy elements, one thing I absolutely expect is for people to keep their characters realistic within the scope of the world. The RPs I host here in ARG are a bit more casual and floofy than RPs elsewhere, so in a way, I'm much more lenient about things I'd probably bap you over th ehead for in my other RPs. But if I feel your characters are getting too ridiculous, I'll probably say something. I love comedy, so I really like for people to not take themselves too seriously in the RPs but I also don't like random nonsense that just doesn't even make sense.
I also really dislike drama. I'm really big on trying to be diplomatic, and compromise when there are issues. But that doesn't stop me from confronting uncomfortable problems--and that includes confronting my friends. If you have a problem with me or with someone else in any of my RPs--I hope you also feel comfortable enough to step up and say something. I hate when people have a problem and they just bugger off into oblivion without saying a word. Nothing ever gets worked out that way. People should be mature enough to work out problems like adults (or young adults) rather than flouncing around with their feelings on their sleeves.
Overall, I'm pretty laid back and I'm always willing to help people with character building, plot, getting involved, or anything else. So please don't ever hesitate to ask for help if you need it. I'll do my best. =3

I'm Cheeva, though most people end up calling me Chee. I'm 24, and work as both an editor and author. I specialise in Steampunk and horror, with a good dollop of fantasy, and I'm apparently (according to Esh) the resident Victorian era expert xd . I live as a Steampunk, meaning not only do I dress like one (though not as garishly as some cosplayers out there ~.~ ) but I also endeavour to live like one, utilising skills from the Victorian era that have been forgotten, and taking pride in anything that is handmade and unique, rather than mass produced. I make my own clothing, and I am starting up a Steampunk sewing blog to encourage people to return to a pride in craftsmanship.
You can find my current manuscript on deviantArt, under the username "DidThePieGoHome" (and yes, it did, indeed, go home T^T ).
...I also customise My Little Ponies and Jun Planning dolls *hides*

I guess I should introduce myself as well, eh? You may call me Echo, or anything you prefer. Real name, just like most people, is confidential. 16 years of age, studying Nursing under some annoying university in the Philippines.
You people are superior to me in terms of RP. I've only been a roleplayer for at least a year, or more. Open-minded, and accepts a challenge, but probably not those too-hard ones, because I end up being too lazy.
Can't really tell much about myself -trust me, I'm dull and boring- so to summarize it... I'm apathetic yet friendly.
Nice to meet you all.

Nice to meet you all. Hey Echo! Nice to meet you too! <3 Don't worry about things like superior or inferior when it comes to RPing here. First of all, these RPs are pretty casual and secondly, the only thing that really makes a good RPer is someone who respects the rules of the RP, and the other player. And someone who has fun. ^^ Anyway, hope to see you joining some of the RPs around here. <3 We'd love to have you join in.

Hmm... Someone seems to be missing here... -some random person shows up and waves- No, not you. >o<
SO! I'm Dreadmaster. twisted Just a name I picked out. I am no cause for real dread. Most of the time, anyway. You can call me Dread, Master(I like this one >.>), Dre, and my Gaia wifeh and rl girlfriend calls me Dready-kun. Take your pick, or make up your own. smile
I am 21 years old and by no means any kind of writer. I study Chemical Engineering in Puerto Rico, currently in my fourth year. I love candy, video games, and I watch cartoons and movies all day. Basically, a 6 year old in a much older body. xD
That's me in a nutshell, really. I'd say more, but Invader Zim is about to come on. whee

Pleasure would be mine.
A question, if you won't mind. Mind giving me the meaning of steampunk? It's the first time I had encountered the term.

A question, if you won't mind. Mind giving me the meaning of steampunk? It's the first time I had encountered the term. Steampunk is a genre, a fashion trend, and a subculture. The term was coined in, I believe, the late 80s/early 90s to describe a setting that appeared in a table top RP, and was meant as something of a joking counterpoint to cyberpunk. Steampunk has basically evolved to be a sub-genre of fantasy/science fiction that involves a re-imagining of the Victorian era (that is, the 1800s and early 1900s), taking an anachronistic view of fashion and technology. There's a heavy emphasis on steam power and clockwork, as well as an emphasis on Victorian inspired society. Much of steampunk takes inspiration from the works of Jules Verne (like 20000 Leagues Under the Sea), or real life scientists like Nikola Tesla. It's actually a fairly diverse genre that is honestly really hard to describe in just a few sentences owing to the fact that it is so diverse. =3

Yeah, I didn't want to go into the subculture or the fashion really since it doesn't apply to the guild really, and it just starts to get really confusing when you try to add in everything. XD

Who? Me? I guess. You can see my chosen Gaia screen name, but yet it seems amongst my group I can't avoid dropping my first accepted name no matter what I create, so everyone ends up calling me CJ at some point or another so... let's just skip right to there?
I'm a simple, working man (in retail), with an affinity towards video games. Girlfriend lets me stay immersed in the video game world because I pay attention to her. Not much else to say other than that.
Oh and right, it has been awhile since I've actually RP'd. Or written. So I apologize for uh... anything retarded I do. And I doubly apologize for any names I make. It's always been a personal downfall of mine, the inability to make names for characters. As in I'll have everything but the name done and stare at my screen for a day thinking of a name. And come up with nothing.
