I've been studying recently the different homeopathic healing practices like using herbs, reiki and such. Recently I saw the movie The Karate Kid. The new one, and in it Jackie Chan's character utilized some type of healing using globes that had the inside covered with alcahol and lit then placed on the skin and likewise used the burning alcahol fumes with his hands. Is anyone familiar with this practice and if so, what is this technique called? I'm very interested in learning more about it.
