Also, the Turian hierarchy is an entire social structure which would not be changed simply by the election of someone sympathetic to its creation.

Politicians speak to their constituents for votes, but are very different behind closed doors. I know it's an entire social structure, I was trying to make a point. I was simply saying that politicians can support something in public, but do something entirely different when they negotiate. Politicians have two different sides. All of them.

Have been in the lower right-hand quadrant since about the time college started. Have moved from far right economic to about +2/3 give or take, and almost always in the high negatives for social/authoritarianism. Maybe I should register Libertine instead.
Man, a Libertine party would be so much fun. C'mon, let's go do drugs and party. It'll be rad. We'll change the world, man.

I would register as a Libertine, except that I'd probably have to provide the booze myself, and then what's the point?

I was on the left a long long time ago? Apart from the cataclysmic shift right-wards in my mid-teens, little has changed in my compass.

I was bored so I re-did it. As my communist tendencies have disappeared and been replaced with social contract-y ones I've settled at a somewhat less extreme left (by, I don't know, 2-3 points), and I've drifted a little more towards libertarianism from where I began. Basically, those numbers used to be flipped. Economic Left/Right: -3.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.46
