I looked outside the window and saw a sexy pink car. "OMG Ken I love it!!" And I ran over to him and hugged him tightly.

I stared at the car and couldnt help but laugh silently. So far i had gotton something from meg, glitter and pixie and thorn. I could tell glitter liked kens gift more then any other she had gotten. I didnt know which gift i liked most. I had a notebook, some books, a new dress and a hair clip. I was wondering right then how ken and the guys got the money to get the girls theyd gotton gifts. Id only gotten presants from the girls and i didnt know how to feel...

The birthday party was fun, but all good things must come to an end. I'd gotten a journal from Sara (my old one was torn at the spine) a set of hair clips from Glitter (heartfelt, at least a little) a Coldplay CD from Meg, and the new Arcade Fire CD from Jared (that I'd been talking about forEVER).
Well, I'm officially fifteen. I clicked off the light on my stand and drifted off to sleep.

From my position outside, I saw that the festivities were drawing to a close. I decided it would be for the best if I were to slip away, just for a moment, to see if I couldn't find any last- minute gifts for my new friends.
