Personality: Deep down and inside Ceres is more of a realist, but tends to outwardly express her optimism to better the morale of the herd. Being an optimist, Ceres is generally positive about any and all situations. She tends to look more on the brighter side of things and less on the darker side, but that doesn't mean she doesn't take the negatives into consideration. Visually, she stands strong and polite, silently eager to hear another's thoughts and plans and tries her best to not wish any ill will upon others. She's kind-hearted, gentle, but does tend to put her hoof (or talons) down in various situations when she deems it necessary to do so.
Thoughts on the current events: Ceres is slightly unsure if she's necessarily the best one to be chosen for this position - no matter how temporary - but she has every intention to play the role to the best of her ability and make her herd proud of their decision in the long run. The situation entirely is a slightly different story. The quasi-abandonment of the treaties has her a little on edge. Though she's sure it's for good reason, a treaty is still just that - a treaty. An agreement. Such things should not be forgotten or ignored. However, the fleeting glimpses that she's seen of this new world outside of their own... she finds it intriguing, if not a little curious....
Additional Character Info: When talking to others in general chatter, her optimistic side shines through in a calm, gentle and almost regal matter. When talking to others in the role of the Party Leader, her realistic points of view break through and mingle with subtle optimism. She remains the calm visage but also appears stern and stable with her decisions and actions - as if she knows how and what she says and does by experience.

Soquili Temper: Patient
Personality: Talaith is a very motherly character, she is extremely protective over her daughter and even though she is one for peace, she would create chaos if her daughter was hurt. She tries to keep a good head on her shoulders, she knows that one should not jump to hasty conclusions without careful planning and reasoning. This female is one who can baby others to an extent but she tries to not be annoying with it. It takes quite a lot to get under her skin and ruffle her feathers, she is very patient with others and tries to be the voice of reason.
Thoughts on the current events: The current events have played out interestingly, violence should really only be a last resort and they made it as their first and only option. They even took a hostage and it is a delicate situation. The hostage needs to be returned safely and without a war, we need to proceed with caution and not be hasty with our decisions.
Additional Character Info: It was hard on her raising her daughter without her lover there beside her to help and guide her with Telyn. She tried her best to tell her daughter about how great her father is and who he was to her. Talaith just wants her daughter to know that her father would love her if he was around. She hopes that one day he will return to her, she has high hopes that he isn't dead. Her daughter is her pride, she hopes that her daughter knows she loves her and is proud of her.

The Rebellion Leader
Username: Kara Asumie
Soquili name: Tsubasa
Soquili Temper: Proud
Personality: Tsubasa is a proud leader and believes in what he is fighting for with all of his heart. Though he is a bit arrogant with his pride. It is hard for him to take a new way of thinking into heart if he doesn't get the chance to run it through his head. Over and over until it becomes clear to him. He has to see the dots that connect before he will admit he is in the wrong.
Thoughts on the current events: Shocked to find out that what he knew was wrong. But also relieved that maybe this is something he can change. After hearing what the half breed said. Maybe his ideas are wrong. Maybe something new is better not only for him but for his people. After all of this fighting and misunderstanding there are many of them that need to find a happy place to be loved and away from wars and blood shed.
Additional Character Info: He might not show it when others are about him because of him being a leader. But the things he enjoys the most are walks in the moonlight to clear his thoughts and collect himself. He isn't sure why the moonlight calms him so much but it does and it helps him think about. Though he is a leader and always keeps that in mind.
He also wants to find a lover and start a family within such events getting in the way and causing problems.

Soquili name: Telyn (Tay-lyn)
Soquili Temper: Thoughtful
Personality: Telyn is quite observant she reflects on things that are interesting. Being a half-breed, she knows she's different than a lot of the Soquili, even though she had others like her, except she couldn't help but feel resentful at times, when she heard colleagues discuss their foal-hood with their parents, when she really had no father after he'd gone missing. She tries to be thoughtful when considering others and even if she can't do much for another, she does it to the best of her abilities.
Thoughts on the current events: It’s terrible. To see that the Hippogryphs didn’t seem to recognize the ancient treaty our ancestors made for our herds to live by. Yet, upon traveling to get Ms. Tierra Avani returned to our herd and seeing such diverse Soquili befriended to two-leggeds. Perhaps it is us that has misunderstood.
Additional Character Info: Having her father mysteriously disappear as a filly, Telyn relied a lot upon what her mother knows of him. She hopes to be a daughter he can be proud of and strives to convey the fact that Soquili of different herds can in-fact, live peacefully. Being born a mutt herself, she hopes to spread unity not with just the Hippogryph and Ulun'Suti, but hopefully to span outward.

The Story Continues
The story: Once they got out of ear-shot, the rebel leader rounded on them, "Alright," he cleared his throat, "Let's talk."
The temporary leader of the Alliance took a deep breath. Her feathers ruffled and settled as she composed herself, "We feel its necessary that we should cover the terms of the treaty that stand."
The rebel leader scoffed, "Oh, here we go," he chuckled ruffling his wings, "Fine, let's have it." He glinted an aside sneer at his companions.
The brown Hippogryph mare went on in more precise detail regarding what was specifically laid out by their forefathers.
The stallion looked as through he was disinterested. He wasn't shy of making a loud provocative sigh. He flexed his wings. When he was done appalling the enemy he looked the mare square in the eyes, "Are you willing to hear our demands?" His common defiant smile crossed his face once again. He didn't want to hear about ancient rituals, he wanted the freedom for Hippogryphs everywhere.
The Ambassador and her daughter grew weary of the rebel leader. They kept quiet, but the Ambassador kept a careful eye on her friend. The Alliance leader sighed and glanced at her friend. The "icy" colored Ulun'Suti stepped forward and smiled at him, "We are only interested in a peaceful release of Tierra Avani. However, we will otherwise continue to uphold the treaty."
That wasn't what he wanted to hear. Especially from someone who obviously had a tryst with one of their own, throwing a heated glare over to the mixed breed offspring.
"Now wait just a minute," he snarled, "Why should we just hand over our little POW to preachy peace-loving leather-wings?"
By this time the Representative of Unity stepped forward, "Excuse me," she began. The rebel leader scowled at her. "I really don't know what has brought on such hostility when it seems to have been a horrible misunderstanding?"
"What do you mean?" he scoffed again; trying to regain a sense of dignity once more.
She stood beside her mother looking over at her and then looked back at him, "At first, we felt the same as you. Thinking that we couldn't live in harmony with others. We were in a sense accepting of those that look like ourselves, myself included, being a mixed breed. However, on our journey here we ran across a tribe of two-leggeds. We were surprised when they were accepting of us, they saw us as equals, along with such a diverse community of other Soquili, living in that idealistic harmony, of which we seek to recreate with the Hippogryphs, your herd.
"You see, we only wish to keep our pacifistic ways with you, however, we see that things won't be exactly how they were. We are willing to make changes to keep peace, yet, maybe in time, we can meet such a universal harmonic world with those we have encountered."
The stallion faltered at the comment of two-leggeds being harmonious, "I don't believe you," he had been shaken, rather, quaked to his core over it.
The mix shook her feather mane and looked at her cohorts. The other mares confirmed what she had said.
The rebels whispered amongst themselves. Their leader hushed them. He looked up at Alliance troupe, "So, harmony... that's what you want?"
They all nodded. The Alliance leader's eyes brighten, "That's correct."
He sighed, thinking perhaps he himself was jaded in thinking so close-minded. The rebel leader agreed to sit down to peace talks. The rebels grimaced as their leader seemed to have been defeated by the "enemy." He smiled wearily as he watched them leave with the newly released earth Ulun'Suti.
Under his breath he said, "You just have to keep up your end of the bargin, leather-wings..."
Any Plot ideas of what will happen to them after the event?:
- Missing Father/Husband:
+ Gets into contact again after being presumed dead. Family doesn't know how to respond to it, feeling many an emotion.
+ Has been secretly detained in an unknown territory
- The Dust Storm Barrier:
+ The future of the barrier, will it be re-erected or destroyed permanently
- Future of the Rebel Leader and the Rep of Unity
+ What will become of the youth of the herds?
- Future of the Ulun'Suti and Hippogryph herds
+ Will they be able to fully accept new terms or will the Hippogryphs seek revenge again?
+ Will even the Ulun'Suti be able to accept the terms that the Natives are less dangerous now than before when the treaty was realized?
