Haha. You know xane. The entire reason for a writers workshop is so that people will be dicks towards you.

Simple reasoning. The world is full of dicks. When someone us going to spebd time and money to read something you wrote. If it is not spectacular. Then it is s**t. Because everyone is a niw, the biggest dicks of all, Re the most importabt. The publishers. They dont give a ******** how awesome you story is. They want to make money. So a writers workshop, rather than have random people eat you alive and ruin your career entirely, because people rarely give a second chance and you will always been known as s**t if thags your first impression, you have people you know, and like mercilessly destroy everyfhing you do until your a blubbering mass afraid to write anymore.

You need the absolute worst oppinions everyone. Because it will help you improve. It will make you see the story though outside eyes without tarnishing your reputation. A typical writers workshop is. You have people read your work. They get to tell you everything that is wfonv with it, and you dont get to argue back. Because, if they dont get it, neither will other people.and we tend to oberlook the little things.
