Any shiny stories you'd like to share? I can name some...
I've run into a shiny Shelmet and Litwick in my black version. Caught them both and EV trained them and everything.
I've ran into a shiny Oddish in my emerald version in the safari zone. I failed to catch him and he ran away gonk
But the worse story i have is my first encounter with Kyogre in my emerald. The very first time was a shiny Kyogre! BUT, i already used my master ball on Rayquaza like a noob, and noone in my party was strong enough to put a dent in him...so he killed me and i never saw him again. gonk crying

In Leaf Green I met my first shiny. It was a pikachu in the power plant ^^. at the time I wasn't sure exactly what a shiny was, but still knew they existed. Still have the pikachu, except now its a raichu. I should have kept it unevolved, the shiny color for raichus is kind of ugly D;

I have a noobest shiny story. 5 years ago....
While I was walking around in Emerald, I ran into a green Zubat. (First shiny)
I thought the game had crashed and reset it.
5 years later I realise that it was a shiny. crying
How many shinies I have reset in those 5 friggin years?! gonk

I found a shiny Nowtowl in Silver, killed it, and then ran around in the grass in the same area at night until I (miraculously) found another one. I caught the second one, but I started a new game years later not knowing how rare shiny pokémon were.
I have never seen a shiny in Generation III.
I’ve caught two shiny Psyducks in HeartGold. One I named Lulu, EV trained, and sent to Black; the other one is still sitting in my box in HG, untouched.
In Black, I found and caught a shiny Emolga and a shiny Watchog. I haven’t done anything with them, either.
I still have never hatched a shiny pokémon. *shakes fist* Masuda method, you fail me! mad

Well, I knew if I talked bad enough about Masuda method long enough, I would finally hatch a shiny. twisted

Thankfully I had learned about shinies when I found my one and only. A shiny Zubat in my Fire Red. *headdesk* I caught him and kept him around. I leveled him up and evolved him into an ugly Golbat. I then had left him there for a couple years. I thought I had moved him over to my Sapphire version, so I reset Fire Red to start over. Turns out he was still in that old save. I haven't found a shiny since. sad Maybe I'll find one in White when I get it?

I got a shiny Tympole in my black. And a shiny geodude in pearl. Now im training tympole to become a seismitoad and geodude, ( which my sis named Duckbert because she thought it was a duck.) is now a Shiny level 41 Golem.
Pretty lucky, huh?

I’ve only gotten Masuda method to work for me in Generation V so far. I prefer it in that generation because 1) the chances of getting a shiny are higher and 2) the Everstone works for passing on a specific nature. It still took me 187 eggs before I got hatched a shiny; although I’ve had significantly less luck in HG.
Eevees are a pain to breed because of how many egg cycles they take to hatch.

The only Shiny story I have is from SS...
I remember in my first copy of SS one part of Mount Silver would give me Shiny Gravelers every time...But before I could even do anything, they used Explosion on me. emotion_8c
Other than that...the only shiny pokemon I have are either from Gameplay or from Events.
I am so unlucky *cries*
