Hesiod led Electra to the park in the neighborhood. It was quite the walk for the young pup since they lived so far back in the neighborhood but she certainly was into it. He watched her carefully as she bound ahead to sniff at a nearby fire-hydrant. "Electra.... what did I say about keeping close?" He called out to her.Electra was excited to go on the long walk to the park. So excited that she forgot her father's rule about keeping close. She ran to the fire-hydrant and began sniffing it. Only when Hesiod called out did she remember. "Oops! Sorry dad!" She called out as he came near. She wagged her tail and gave him her best 'I'm adorable so you can't get mad at me' look. "Can't wait to see mom and sister! We're lucky our human let us come." She looked far back behind Hesiod to see their owner, Alexia, walking to catch up. Of course they were supervised by their owner. Alexia wouldn't let any of her dogs just go wondering on their own. She would just sit back in the background while watching them.

  Luxray walked ahead of her owner, she always went to slow her her tastes, her daughter Chatot trying her best to keep up. Luxray held her head high, her fur neatly groomed and sleek. "Now Chatot, when we get there I will not have you ignore me. If I say something, you do it. Or I will have our owner take me home. I will not have you doubting my judgement in front of anyone, your father or not. This is your first trip to the park, and I don't want you cavorting with the wrong dog and getting yourself bitten, Remember, you are a show dog now, you must keep up your looks or our owner will no longer favor you.Struggling to keep up, Chatot trotted after her mother. "..Yes mother..." She sighed, starting to tune her mother out in her excitement. Its been weeks since she got to see her father and sister, and with all the training for the ring her owner has been doing with her, she hadnt had much time to stretch her legs and just be a pup. What would they're home life be life? What career had Electra and her owner chosen? She couldnt wait to find out. As the park came into view, she began questioning her mother in a rush of nonsensical questions. Luxray, who just rolled her eyes slightly ignored her as they padded onto the grass of the park.

Hesiod stopped at the park entrance and waited for Electra and their owner. Once they caught up he went into the park. It was a very nice park with some benches and a playground for the humans. It also had a pond near the back and there were fountains for both the humans and the dogs. It had tons of open space for the dogs to play and run around. "Okay Electra. Looks like we somehow managed to beat your mother and sister." He watched as Alexia went to a bench to sit down and drink from her water bottle.
Electra bound into the park with a loud bark. She glanced around and saw other humans and dogs around playing. None of them paid her any attention save for her owner who gave her a frown. "Are they going to be here soon? I wanna see Chatot!"

Rounding a nearby bush, Luxray trotted up to Hesiod and Electra. "You couldnt beat me anywhere in your life time. Though it doent help that my human takes her sweet time..." She cast a look back at her human, Kate who was now greeting Alexia and sitting on her bench to catch up. Casting her gaze back at Electra, she smiled. "You have grown, havent you?"
When Chatot entered the park, she immediately began sniffing around until she caught sight of her father and sister. "Electra! Daddy!" With that outburst she charged across the grass to collide into her sister and immediatly started bumbarding her with questions. "Whats-your-house-like? Do-they-threat-you-well? What-job-are-you-being-trained-for? How-far-away-do-you-live?

Hesiod shook his head at his mate. "You must have been lurking around just waiting to throw that in my face." He replied with a grin. He spotted Chatot and chuckled as she barreled into her sister. "Looks like Chatot grew too." He sat down near his family before casting a look at the owners. They seemed to get along seeing how they were conversing animatedly.
Electra nearly squealed with delight when she saw her mother and sister. "Course I h- OOF!" She was suddenly knocked down to the ground and stared at her sister dumbfounded. "Huh? Could you slow down! You're talking as fast as mom runs." She giggled a little at that and pushed herself up into a sitting position.

"Cant let you go spreading rumors that your faster then me, now can I?" Sitting down next to Hesiod, she watched they're two pups play. "How is she getting on at her new home? Is her owner treating her well?" She cast a glance over to where they're owners were talking.
Sitting up, she shook the dust off of her fur before scratching an itch behind her ear. "Not my fault your brain doesnt process that fast" She grinned at her sister before jumping into the play position and running off deeper into the park.

Hesiod rolled his eyes at her reply. "Certainly can't have that." He said, "She's doing good. There are other pups that she plays with and she even has a mentor for the field she's in. Alexia treats her well. In fact Alexia enjoys playing and training the dogs at her home." He paused to look at the two girls as they ran off. "Be careful!" He called out before looking at Luxray, "How is Chatot doing? Has her field been decided yet?"
Electra shook her head as her sister ran off. Apparently she didn't want to know the answers to her questions. "I'll catch you!" She had gotten faster having to run sometimes to herd the sheep back into the group. She barely heard their father's call as she raced after Chatot.

"Thats good..A mentor is an important thing, what field is she going into?" She sighed slightly as the took off running, shaking her head a bit. "Chatot is doing fine, Our human has classes to go with with a handler for her trainer, as that type of showing is new to her. She's kind to Chatot though, so Chatot is loving it."
Chatot on the other hand was not being trained for stamina, but being a husky she did have some natural agility and a body built for fast turns. Taking off, she pelted across the grass, weaving through groups of dogs, grinning from ear to ear.

Hesiod nodded. A mentor was a good thing although Oliviero may not be the best choice for a mentor right now. Poor guy was still so shy. "She's going into the working field. She'll be a herding dog." He perked up when Luxray mentioned that Chatot would be going into his field, show ring. "So Chatot is going to be like me. I hope she does better than I ever did. And that's good that the handler is nice to our daughter."
Electra dodged the groups of dogs as she raced after her sister. Unlike her sister, her face was completely serious as she thought of how to catch up. She quickly looked around and spotted a small shortcut that would bring her closer to her sister.

Nodding, Luxray continues to keep her eyes on they're daughters. "Yes, I think our owner mentioned something about talking to yours about your career. Atleast you may not need to compete with eachother in the ring, being different breeds and all, unless she reaches higher classes which is quite possible. I think your owner picked the perfect career for Electra though, she's been chasing things since before she could walk.
Not noticing said shortcut, Chatot continued to bolt across the plush grass, barking as her sister as she went. "You cant catch me! You cant catch me!"

Hesiod nodded. He wasn't really worried about competing with his daughter. He was never good at shows so his handler didn't often enter him in contests. Hopefully Chatot would be entered in many. "Yes Electra does have quite a liking for chasing things. Is a good thing that Alexia noticed it. She would have never done good as a show dog.... and I'm not sure about racing like you."
Electra grinned widely as she saw Chatot head right for the curving path. Now she would be able to cut right in by taking this shortcut that crossed right into the curve. "We'll see..." She whispered as she put on a burst of speed.
