[Lmao, sorry bout title. I fail and I know this.]
He had had a productive night. His attitude having changed at least for now, when it came to Isra. She had been fun, and he had enjoyed her spunk. He'd almost thought she had enjoyed the pain that it had all brought. He stepped out of his den, stretching out his legs and shaking his mane of any knots sleep may have brought. His eyes took in the savannah, and he smiled. He loved this new home. He loved the scenery and the other lions. He had a constant need to talk himself up though. He wouldnt be told he was a nothing. He didnt care who told him. So he thought it best to not mingle with the higher ups, and to mingle with the more accepting crowd. He didn't want to offend but the lion did that rather well.
He felt his belly growl, and he frowned. Obviously his banu weren't doing what they said they would. He wanted food, and he would have it. Looking into the den, he frowned at Isra.
"Get up. Its time for us to hunt." He commanded. If he was going to hunt he certainly wasnt going to do it alone!

[Ah, don't worry about! It's fine! Well, Isra had to say this, last night was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. It was fun, a lot of fun. It had hurt and yet felt oh so very good and had done well to lull her into a sound sleep when she and her Pad had finished, in spite of the occasional twinge here and there. Were there scratches, scrapes, and bite marks? Probably, but her dark coat would prove to be a boon in masking those sorts of things until they healed properly. And they would heal properly. Her uncle was great with herbs to help out in such matters if she was worried about it. The lioness shifted from her curled up position in the den and shook herself, her fur somewhat ruffled from the prior evening's activities.
Taking a brief moment, she groomed herself to at least smooth down her coat and rid herself of the dust that remained. Upon hearing Ouran's command, Isra rose to her paw with a soft sigh as she felt a slight tingle from a few scratches on her back. The dark lioness padded out of the den with a bow of her head to her Pad. "I'm ready, Master. What are you feeling like this morning? Or shall we just let the savannah surprise us with its bounty?" Her own stomach was feeling a bit empty, but she would let the male eat his fill first. After all, she was there to serve him. If he ate everything of their catch then, when given leave, she would hunt something down for herself, and maybe something for Beybanu Zuraya if she wasn't feeling up to joining her.

He liked that she came quickly, and did not bother to question his command. He was learning to like having her obedient to him. He smiled, narrowing his eyes when she stood to join him. But then he turned his gaze out towards the savannah once more. He wasnt sure what sounded good, but likely the first animal they ran up on that would be what sounded good. It was the easiest to find.
"Lets just head out, see what we can find." He said, looking at her when she got to his side. He gave her a once over, and then cleared his throat.
"An empty stomach doesn't suit us well at all. And I have Zuraya tending to the den today. So Id prefer my stomach doesn't stay empty. Yes?" He asked, looking at her. He wasnt feeling particularly confrontational today. Isra had put him in a good mood.. And yes, this was one of his good days!

She followed his gaze out to the savannah, her vivid red eyes already scanning for any of the larger prey beasts that were known to live around the pride. If the herds were being particularly cohesive today or ended up being too much, then Isra would have no issue going for several smaller prey items. She absolutely believe that she was taught by the very best and, while she did understand that sometimes luck played into things, she had no doubt as to her skill as a huntress. Plus, it was early yet so the heat wouldn't beat so heavily down upon her dark coat.
When Ouran spoke, she shifted her attention back to him. "Yes, of course, my Lord. I'll be sure to get you what you need," She said with a bit of a smile offered up upon her features. "They won't know what hit them when we go sweeping through. Would you like to take the lead, Lord, or shall I, or perhaps we shall just head on out and see what we can catch?" He seemed to be in a good mood, which was good, but she still didn't want to overstep herself. She would simply behave and keep an eye out for any signs of her pushing the boundary of his temper, just enjoy the relative pleasantness was it was there to be had.

"Dont ask so many questions." He complained, though he would prefer that rather than her just do something without asking first. But he didn't want to spoil his mood with questions.
"We will take off together, and enjoy the hunt. Together. There will be no leading." Standing he began heading off, knowing she would follow. If she were wise, she wouldnt hang back either. That wasnt what he was looking for.
She began calling him 'Lord' and he couldn't say he wasnt in love with the idea of someone calling him that. She was getting points fast, of course.. those points could be lost faster than they could be gained.
"It seemed you enjoyed yourself last night." He said, boasting a bit and standing tall with a raised eyebrow. He was testing her really.. But if she were to say she didnt enjoy it, he wouldnt be too thrilled.

"I'm sorry," She said, her tone only just touching on soothing. No more questions from her for now then. If any more issues came up, hopefully he'd answer them or she could hazard a guess, or ask if his mood seemed up for it. She made a mental note to monitor the number of questions she asked at any one time.
Her smile faded to a smaller version of itself and she nodded. She always enjoyed hunting. It had brought her pleasant memories as a young banu growing up in such a large harem and such a large family, for that matter. Isra headed off with him, following him along side, behind him maybe a small step, but that was her upbringing. He wanted her along side him and so he would have it. He didn't really strike her as the type to appreciate or want to walk with their sides brushing against each other as she would occasionally do with her mother, sisters, or her father's other banu, so she kept a little space between herself and him.
She gauged his expression at the 'Lord' drop. Mm. Not really his taste if the hint in his eye gave her any inclination. She'd stick to 'Master' as often as she could.
His boastful statement caused her face to flush brightly beneath her dark coat, heating her skin thoroughly. She briefly averted her gaze to bite back the seemingly reflexive smile that was trying to form. Isra settled with giving her lower lip a bit of a nibble as she looked back to meet his gaze. "...Yes," She admitted. "I did, Master. Very much so..."
