Talents/Skills/Powers: As an apprentice of the fearsome mercenary Deathstroke, Apex underwent the same procedures that Deathstroke himself went through in the US Army, and as such possesses all the same capabilities as his mentor.
Enhanced mind- Apex's augmentations allow him to process thought approximately nine times faster than an ordinary human being, making him a veritable supercomputer in the areas of tactics and strategy. Like his mentor, Apex specializes in planning for fights ahead of time and exploiting weaknesses in his opponents.
Enhanced reflexes- Apex possesses superhuman reflexes, being able to dodge fast-moving projectiles like bullets and arrows, and he is capable of out-reacting a Flash at low-level super-speed, like his mentor once did with Wally West.
Enhanced strength- Apex's augmentations gave him a much denser muscular structure, and allow him the ability to lift up approximately four tons, or 8,000 pounds, at maximum.
Enhanced stamina- Due to his augmentations, Apex is able to exert himself at peak capacity for an extended period of time without tiring.
Enhanced speed- Apex can run at approximately thirty miles an hour at maximum, and can run for far longer distances than the finest Olympic athlete.
Enhanced senses- Apex's bodily senses were augmented to superhuman levels, meaning he can hear, see, and smell things at far greater distances, and with superior clarity, compared to an ordinary human being.
Regenerative healing factor- One of the most important augmentations Apex received was a regenerative healing factor that could be on par with the likes of Marvel Comics' Wolverine or Deadpool. In addition to allowing him to survive ludicrous amounts of damage, this has greatly slowed his aging, and renders him immune to all known Earth diseases, poisons, and toxins.
Master tactician and strategist- Due to training under Deathstroke, Calvin has become a master at planning tactics and strategy, and with enough time and planning could arguably find ways to defeat any opponent. He likely ties with his mentor as the greatest tactician and strategist on Earth today.
Martial Arts Mastery- Even before training under Deathstroke, Calvin had advanced knowledge of multiple martial arts disciplines, and refined his knowledge even further as a Marine and while training under Deathstroke. As a result he is considered a superior hand-to-hand combatant to his master. When this is combined with his augmentations, Apex has the potential to defeat the likes of Batman.
Expert Marksman- Apex, being a former member of the United States Marines, was incredibly capable with many types of firearms and was familiar with explosives. His training under Deathstroke further refined Apex's expertise in these areas, making him one of the greatest marksmen in the world.

Backstory
Calvin was born in The Bronx, New York, to Christine Bridges. His mother was kidnapped in front of his eyes when he was five, which set Calvin on the path to becoming the man he is today. For the next twenty years, Calvin was the sort of person who would push people away from him. He had no friends, and would run away from any foster homes he was sent to.
At the age of 18, Calvin joined the United States Marine Corps, serving a two-year tour in the Middle East before being discharged. After returning home, Calvin fell in the the Italian Mafia, and robbed the Commerce Bank of Metropolis in order to pay off mob debts. Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke, heard of this and was impressed enough to "convince" (read: force) Calvin to become his protege. After receiving his augmentations, Calvin began training under Deathstroke in order to combat the Justice League and its members, and by the time he was twenty-four had been given the alias "Apex". Calvin, now going almost exclusively by the alias Apex, struck out on his own and used money earned from contracts to attempt to find the whereabouts of his mother.
He has not seemed at all bothered by the Multiversal Merge, and has continued his search for his mother while gathering intel on the new heroes and villains he has encountered. He is still technically apprenticed to Deathstroke, but as his master has fallen off the radar completely (again), Apex has more or less "graduated", albeit unofficially.
