"Greeetings and salutations everyone. Welcome to Roleplaying class. More specifically, welcome to a class that will help you be literate," says a cat, walking on his hind paws, his cape flowing behind him. Tapping a paw on the chalkboard, he strokes at his whiskers, "I am InsaneKatKing. Please, call me Kat, makes for less difficulty in typing."

I have been assigned to your class, how delightful! I was never truly introduced to role-playing. I would like to learn some terms of roleplaying, what they mean, and the technical rules if possible. You are familiar with my work, I am usually not curt in response. Thank you!

"To learn to roleplay, you must practice your roleplaying. Repost as if this were a roleplay. Kat-sensei has spoken!" he exclaims, thumping a paw on the floor in an overly dramatic fashion.

InsaneKatKing475 "To learn to roleplay, you must practice your roleplaying. Repost as if this were a roleplay. Kat-sensei has spoken!" he exclaims, thumping a paw on the floor in an overly dramatic fashion. She stared blankly at Kat, the pure expression of boredom on her face. I understand that, I know how to do a basic Roleplay. Now, the only things I have yet to learn consist of the rules to roleplaying, and the terms and phrases. I was only taught one, godmodding. I would like to learn all there is so I may improve to my greatest ability. She almost spat the words, each dripping with sarcasm. She knew she wanted so badly to learn, but this was just review. She tossed her blonde hair behind her shoulders, and drummed her fingers against the desk in a languorous fashion. Her gaze wasn't even rested on him anymore, she was languidly gazing out the widow, as if in a dreaming state. (sorry, I meant none of that, it was for literate sake. Although, I was only taught one phrase.)

Walking to the board, he writes out a sectence, circling the quotation marks. "This is your mistake. One cannot figure out talking from action without these."

She held a cold stare, a stare in itself that could have shattered glass, sending fragments and shards all across the room. The glare was so intense, it would make a pack of ravenous wolves flee at the sight of it. And that glare, was fixed right at Kat-Sensei. "You must not be so judgmental, I am normally very punctual, you have caught me at an off-moment, I promise it will never happen again... Sensei." The words almost made her gag. She put boredom and fake meaning into every syllable. She would have given him a lightning fast slap back, if her life hadn't depended on it. She KNEW the immense trouble and punishment it entailed. She kept her eyes on his methods, to learn, but so as not to give herself another reason for her hand to connect with his face.

"Mhmm," the feline proffessor nods, stroking his whiskers lightly, "Indeed indeed." Climbing back onto his desk, he looks at his student, pointing a paw playfully, "Well then, onto the rules of roleplaying. Rule one, as you already know. No god modding. What does it mean? Simple, your character is as mortal as the rest. You can be hurt, you can die, you are not perfection incarnate." Walking along his desk, the feline's tail sways behind him slowly, "Rule two, Limits. Every rper has a limit to what they will and will not do. Respect that always!"

"Yes Kat!" This actually perked her interest. It was something she had desparately needed to learn. He would hopefully teach her more, and not waste his time with review. Her gaze was then attached to the clock slightly above the board. The time read nowhere close to what she wanted it to. Too bad she couldn't control time... She quickly set her gaze back on her Sensei. She nodded, and noticed that she had absentmindedly been taking notes. This intrigued her. She decided to continue writing the rules as they were spoken while she was at it, there may be a test or something.

Jumping down from his desk, Kat walks about the mostly empty classroom, scratching at one of his fuzzy ears, "Third rule of literate roleplaying. Bring your character to life. Or at least try to. If your character was faced witha situation, how would they respond? Would they curl up into a ball and cry, wishing the bad things would go away? Or would they stand up and fight backa gainst whatever was confronting them? Bring them into existence!" Waving his paws through the air dramatically, he smile, his tail swaying behind him, "Getting this down?"

She met his gaze with a scowl. Sadly, the negativity that was let loose with that demonic scowl was canceled out by his happiness. Darn. "If you don't want me to take notes, then say something useful. Her scowl turned into a grin that was sharp enough to slice through solid steel. If not, then teach me something that will attract my attention, that will feed my imagination!" "I doubt you will FIND my imagination, because it is only unlocked with pure knowledge, and DECENT teaching." "I suggest you start teaching and stop your little comments that are just out of amusement. Continue your teaching, or I will walk out on you, and you will have nothing better to do than weep at your poor empty classroom and pick the fuzz out of your ears. DID YOU HEAR ME? or did the fuzz get too thick?"

Kat-sensei shook his head with a scoffing laugh, his arms crossed in front of him. "You are a difficult girl," he says before turning away and walking to the chlakboard. "Well, you've learned the rules, and are putting them into practice. Now then, some exceptions to the rules. Exception one, puppeteering. Moving a person's character without them posting. It is alright, if permission is given."

"Alright, what are any other exceptions?" "Tell me!" She rested her feet on her desk, and sat back, her notes on her knees. She was swaying the eraser end of her pencil from side to side, as if pretending to whack her new sensei with it from afar. She giggled and continued. She then realized that Kat had stopped talking, and continued to her notes. She looked at him with expectant eyes. "You expect me to believe you to be a teacher when you stop out of nowhere? You claim you are a sensei, but deserve no respect. There is no reason for me not to just ditch your class right now." She sat up, and drummed her fingers on her notes. "I need more to write about." "You must give me more information than that! If that is it on the matter, then like any normal teacher, you should change the subject in attempts to perk my interest. I must feed off knowledge, but you waste my time."

Kat-sensei shook his head, his tail swaying behind him. "Well then, how about you come up here and teach me then? Seeing as you know so much about teaching a literate roleplaying class," he says, patting his desk before walking over ot hers and sitting on the top of it. "Well, get up there," he says, flicking her nose with his tail.
