Hiya! Here's the RP prompt thread for those of you interested in extra tickets for the Halloween game in the main thread. You can do up to 5 of these for 1 ticket each. So take your time, no need to rush. Do them for fun. They can be used for RP evidence for elders as well. Post your RP prompt-related threads in this guild forum. Once you're finished, PM me the link and I will add another ticket to your total.

You may use any of your existing Kage, a human character, or a human character and a Kage for these prompts. If you do not own any Kage yet, you may make one up (colors, name, type) for the RP prompt only or use a made-up human character (see RP info thread for details).

You may post the entire RP in one post, or more if you prefer. You can also have a 2-person RP with any of these prompts if you get lonely.

RP Prompts:

1. Death in the Forest
In the forests above the Red Kingdom, where the northern snow and ice meets the tall pines of the forest with ran and death flanked at its west and east, small colonies thrive in the land not taxed by the royalty. It is, however, a dangerous place to live.

For a week, sheep and horses have gone missing, presumably stolen or eaten. Not much was thought of this minor nuisance, until a child went missing. Days later, the local hunters came across his mangled corpse, strewn across the roots of an old tree, the snow around it still drenched in blood.

The village people live in fear and anger now, lashing out at newcomers and Kage alike. You (a human, or a Kage, or a human and a Kage):
- Visit the town (why? How are you treated?)
- Hear the story of what happened
- Decide what to do (Leave, Help, Find out what happened, or Cause further chaos?)

[In the end, it was one of the monster Kage that are coming down from the north, but that only matters if you help them find out what happened. This is extremely open-ended!]

2. Chill in the Air
The winds of the north have begun to pick up, chilling the central forest villagers to the bone. You (a human, a Kage, or a human and a Kage) have noticed the biting winds at night and need to find shelter or warmth. Will you:
- Try to find a town and beg for a room? (Kage are mostly despised by the populace)
- Set up or find a shelter of your own?
- Migrate south?

[What kind of hardships will you endure with this lower temperature? Food, shelter, fire... how will you get what you need to survive? This is extremely open-ended!]

3. Winter is Coming
You've spent the night with a ragtag bunch of nomads in some abandoned village ruins. The chill of darkness was kept at bay with a warm fire and the toasty hospitality of strangers. However, come morning, the sound of a loud woman preaching to the world awakens you. The sound of at least a dozen horses clopping down the nearby dirt trail makes it clear you're not getting back to sleep anytime soon. Curiously, you approach, realizing the woman is garbed in rich purple velvets and is riding a roofless litter hoisted up upon four horses' backs, followed by a host of armed men. Sellswords, by the look of their armor.

"Sinners!" she barks into the wilderness, not yet spying the nomads huddled sleeping within the ruined town. "I bring you word of the future! Winter is coming!" She is flanked on either side by two large, male Spiritual Kage with gems and beads braided throughout their fur. They catch sight of you far before she does.

Will you:
- Humor her with a conversation (her Kage don't look very friendly, nor her sellswords)
- Attack! (ballsy, but okay)
- Flee (don't look too guilty, you're not sure if she's from the Red Kingdom... even if she has Kage, she could have the best of both worlds)
- Whatever else you'd like to do

[She will most likely be soliciting donations for her visions. If pressed for more information, she is aware that something powerful had awoken and monsters are truly beginning to attack innocents.]

4. Monsters!
It's been a lonely couple of days as you've trekked on in search of town, feeling lost and hopeless. Every tree and bush begins to look the same as you curse yourself for leaving that dirt trail you had been following days before, to search the forest for food.

As you relax near a large tree with thick roots to somewhat shelter you, you realize you can hear something coming. It could be prey... or something else. You slowly get up to peek around your tree and squint, trying to make out the shape in the dim sunset. Your heart stops for a moment as the figure turns to you, its eyes glowing unnaturally. It looks like a Kage... but something is just wrong. Horribly wrong.

The monster comes at you!
- Do you attempt to fight it off?
- Talk to it?
- Run?

[This is pretty open-ended in every way-- the looks of the Kage-monster, how it reacts, etc. Surprise me!]

5. Red Watch
The Red Kingdom has dispatched the royal infantry to patrol the kingdom roads and walls. These roads extend all the way to the river settlements, down the Red River. They have been charged with killing off any "monsters" that people have reported seeing, as well as any Kage and any humans cavorting with said Kage.

One night, you (a human, a Kage, or a human and a Kage) are awoken by the sounds of horses clopping down the dusty trail that you are sleeping near. You hear shouting, and the sounds of dogs barking. They've caught your scent. You can:
- Flee as best you can (it will not be easy)
- Stand and fight (it will be even less easy)
- Be creative? (I trust your judgment of other ways out of this predicament!)

[This is a tough one. Be careful you don't get hurt! This prompt is open-ended but it will be difficult nonetheless.]
