The North seasonal island is in fall and Yako is wandering around it's leave strewn paths. She is enjoying the fall air and checking to see if the island has maintained a nice stock of prey for her clan.

Arudar wandered through a path near by as he looked around for food. He'd been on a hunt when the colorful island caught his eye and he'd decided this would be a good place to find prey. The sound of leaves crunching made his ears twitch and he made his way stealthily through the path toward the source of the noise. After a moment he came upon another path and through the trees he saw an elder female. 'I wonder who that is...' he though to himself as he watched her. Being a lone Ruos he didn't recognize her as the leader of Equlibrium.

Yako sat on a rock under a gnarly tree, it's roots stuck out of the ground and made loops on either side of her. They snaked down into the earth below her. She turns and peers in the tree. There is a pair of robins and a dozen grackles in the surrounding trees. She sits back down on the rock, turns around, and scrawls on the rock with a small white stone. She sniffs, is someone near? she continues what she is doing so that another ruo might not know that she has sensed them.

Aru looked in the tree at the many birds and his stomach growled. He didn't want to startle the female so he crept into the shadow of a nearby boulder and quickly snapped up a bird from a shadow in the tree yako was under. the animal let out a surprised cheep before nothing remained but feathers. the commotion caused the near by birds to fly away to safety, cheeping in fright.

Yako couldn't help but let out a giggle and she covered her mouth. Her plan on pretending to be oblivious was foiled. She turned to look at the fearless hunter. "Hullo?....."

Aru munched on the bird happily and looked down at Yako when she addressed him. After swallowing he grinned, "Hey there." he said.

She smiled and noted that he caught a grackle. Well that's ok she thought because there is soooo many of them. "still hungry?" noting all the little feather stuck on his face.

"Well, sorta" She stood up and stretched, her bones popped as she did. "I'm making sure there is plenty of resources on these islands. I know sometimes youngsters kill for fun and I don't want to risk depletion. Since most animals can't reach the other islands and what not. However, the south island, which is in spring now, has an overpopulation of rabbits." She smiles " My name is Yako by the way."

"Well then, miss Yako, I'm guessin you don't need me gobblin' up all the birds huh?" he chuckled, noting the information about the tasty rabbits and making it a point to go there later. "I'm called Arudar, or Aru's fine." he said with a smile.

"Welcome to the Lonely Islands, Aru" She said with a smile. He was kinda cute she thought, woah woah woah wait don't get ahead of yourself now. "So was it just food that brought you here?"

"for the most part. I've been huntin' for a few days since i left the mountains. Torn's got him a bug up his butt about outsiders." he said stretching, "And I like the weather here, not too hot, not too cool... Let's just hope the elder here ain't such a hot head."

She attempted to hold in a giggle as she spoke, "Oh, I've known her to be quite nice.." I wonder how long I can avoid saying I'm the owner of the territory?

"That's good." he said with a smile before sitting to scratch his ear, "last thing i want is to get run outta another territory. Most people don't take too kindly to me ..."
he looked like he wanted to say more but a sneeze caught him and small flecks of bright green acid came from his mouth, causing a small hole where they landed.

"I see.." She glances at the holes. " our clan is small at the moment, So we don't mind sharing what we have with others. In fact, it's kind what we stand for. I'm sure, if you asked her, you would be allowed to stay here."
