Yeah, I have a major question actually.. Who are the 8 members, where are they from, and what can they do that sets them so apart from othere ninja?
(And, yeah, I know obviously that Itachi and Kisame are in Akatsuki- and I also know a bit about Deidara and Sasori.. But not much about those 2- and nothing at all about the other 4..)

We don't know, and the only person who knows is Kishimoto...
And we all know that b*****d ain't gonna tell us ahead of time!!
But, there might be a Uchiha as the leader...

None of the other members have been shown yet?! Weird.. I thought it was just the leader of Akatsuki that nobody knows the identity of yet...
I mean, why show Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, and Sasori, if you aren't going to show the other 4?...
The leader guy I can understand, but not the others... Stupid if you ask me. But hey, I haven't read the manga, so I shouldn't judge it.

No, not me, never- I don't agree with him on that point!! Kisame though... yeah, sorta.. And I don't know enough about Deidara or Sasori to be able to determine if they are or aren't... Though I heard some stuff about Deidara, so he's probably wrong there too... But it's weird, how they only tell readers about like half the members of the group...

They don't introduce them all for storyline purposes. It's better to lead your readers on one thing at a time. If you just bog them down with characters they don't know them so well and even might forget who they are. Also it's most likely to drag the story out more but I'm thinking basicly for the fact to not overwelm the fans with to much info at once. ^^ **spoilers here! I'll print what i think are basic ones in black and more spoilery ones in white in the spoiler zone** Okay well you know about Itachi and Kisame.. Sasori: he's a missing-nin from the sand. He uses puppets. He might be dead now though.Deidara: he uses clay! and explodes things. He's artsy. also might be deadZetsu: He's multi-colored ^^ and um rather plant-like. Ahh, was about to tell you about Zetsu. I love his ability to be able to merge into trees and plants. Only thing I find weird is this Quote: His pupil-less eyes and superior vision suggest that he may harbor something similar to Byakugan. maybe he has the bloodline to be able to merge into tree and plants? That's my only suggestiion.

I still can't figure out why people say he's going blind. gonk Just because Kakashi asked him how bad has his eyesight gotten? >_> Akatsuki picture! As you can see Itachi is the shortest standing two inches above my height of 5'7" Itachi is 5'9" eek Kawaii.
