So, I have NOTHING so far.

Except one possible scene.

See I had this idea in my head ages ago, that it might be fun if one went crazy and spent 36 straight hours playing Robot Unicorn Attack. Or rather, that playing 36 straight hours of Robot Unicorn Attack might be a good way to go crazy.

So I'm thinking of having an insomniac character who drinks energy drinks, eats nerds and at one point has to be dragged away from the computer after a mental breakdown and an obsession with playing RUA.

Plot
Setting
Genre
Everything else

So! Ideas?

I would say build your plot around something that happened in this persons life that has pushed them to the limit, making them only want to sit around play play RUA all day. School stress, life drama, something traumatizing. Then if you want, you can tell the story of how it lead to this point through Flashbacks to break up all the "sitting in room time" =p

Or you could have the character go a little crazy from all the energy drinks and sugar. Then you can experiment with what you want to write about a bit more. Maybe have the character convinced that his life is RUA. Or that they are a unicorn.

Or your whole novel can be building up to this point and you just need to make the right conditions for the end game of 36 RUA hours. Maybe someone locked them in their room?

Nah, she just has insomnia and goes crazy. I mean the scene's just a scene. It's not important in any way. It's not a plot point or anything.

Um .... um .... put zombies in it?

Or transport her to the world of RUA when she plays the game (kinda like .hack//sign). I WOULD LIKE THIS. XDD
