Hello everyone, I am in Mazatlan, Mexico. I've been here for three weeks now. A couple days before I got here, two people were shot out in the open, not far from a really major road. A couple nights ago, there was a major shooting. Apparently some people were trying to steal something, and when the police arrived, the criminals began shooting. I'm not sure how long it lasted, but it was at least 20 minutes. One police was injured, five criminals were arrested, and two criminals were killed.
I am safe, because it's easy to avoid dangerous streets, I have excellent leaders/guides, and the Holy Spirit is guiding us. But the people here need prayer.

It sounds like the people really need a lot of prayer. Prayer that they find Christ and prayer for the violence to end. Prayer for your safety while you are there as well because it can never hurt to pray and you can never pray to much.
Dear Lord, I pray that your words will be heard by people with open and eager hearts. Let their hearts and minds be open to hearing and receiving your word. Let those who bring your word be safe and their hearts and minds focused on you. Give them the words to speak. Keep the enemy far from them. Let your presence fall upon the people of Mazatlan, Mexico and let your will be done there. Amen
