I saw a mirror today.
It's blunt truth only telling me what I had feared.
Not a rooster.
Not a dragon.
I spun around in front of the mirror.
Her eyes ever unyielding.
Not a human,
not a changeling.
I sat in front of that mirror,
staring long and hard.
I am me.
