I actually heard taht they weren't making a grey... Or any other third version. They may make "burnt ruby and something sapphire" next, or at least i hope. the origional was my fav version ever.

Yes there will prolly be a grey version but people please stop believing Ign with there blatent fanboyism the are not a reliable source!!!

I've seen this being rumored on other pokemon sites as well.
It sounds exciting!
Though, if it is released for the 3DS, I'll be quite upset. sad
I don't have a 3DS and don't want to get one. talk2hand

I am also anticipating the official news about the ruby/sapphire remakes. 3nodding

They remade gen 1 in gen 3, gen 2 in gen 4, I hope they make gray and gen 3 remakes.

I heard about the remakes, no official news on either yet, but I would be excited to see them on the 3ds, I would buy one just for it. That and starfox 64

First the pokemon grey would have you catching the pokemon Kyurem (i think that it is what it is called). Kurem is the ice dragon that you can catch that lives in the upper right hand corner of the map. raresham and zekrom are yen and yang, kyurem is suposed to be void (nothingness).
second with the remakes of ruby sapphire and emerald, they would be great if the pokemon company didn't royally screw them up, witch they would find some way of doing.for those who loved the third gen and want to relive your past conquests it might be worth it. same goes for those whom haven't played gen 3 (i recomend emerald) but it wouldn't be worth it to buy the 3ds just for the new pokemon remake. now if it were nearly flawless and nintendo would stop making crappy hand held systems then yea i'd buy the 3ds.
and yes i too hope they make the remakes tor the non 3ds systems
btw these would probity be the last gen of mainstream pokemon games, sadly

Pokemon Grey is pretty much a given,that much is for sure.I can see this easily being made into a 3ds game though,not a 100% graphic overhaul redo but just enough to establish a foreground/background difference for a 3D effect,plus it'll convince more people to get a 3ds too....
As for a remake of the 3rd gen,eh...I'm not too big of a fan but without a doubt it is one of the non 4-5 gen updated region adventures if you count the johto-kanto version as both season 1 & 2. So this is plausible BUT quite honestly I see them coming out with a battling system game such as a BattleRev/Stadium/Colosseum game even before that...considering wii-u will be debuting this year...especially since they took out the auto lvl 50-100 in gen 5 games...
