The Hunter
The Girl Next Door - Emma is an all-American girl, whatever that means, with an unassuming and optimistic view of the world. She's respectful of her elders and a mothering type, willing to care for whomever requires it at the moment. She is not one to search for love, much preferring friendship and companionship over the drama usually associated with romance. Various types of young men have been attracted to her in the past, but none have been able to get through, and it seems that the less innocent have failed to taint her. While she is certainly not as effeminate as some of this archetype, she certainly cleans up good.
Laid-Back - The usual dramatic escapades of young women are mostly lost on Emma. She doesn't want to get involved in he-said-she-said; she'd much rather lounge on the front porch. Even the more serious issues in life, the genuine fights and acts of betrayal, don't seem to fluster the girl much. It takes a lot to get Emma upset, and even then it is often easiest to calm her again with logic and honesty.
Rugged - Football in the mud? Yes, please. Emma has been something of a tomboy since her tween years, having no problem hiking up her jeans and getting a little dirty. Of course, this may be due to her raising. The girl was brought up mucking stalls, planting and plowing, tackling animals and baling hay. There is no time to be perfect when lending a hand on the farm, and she always preferred the physical labor to the cooking and cleaning her sisters found. That was tedious and boring, this was real work. As such, the dishes may sit in the sink an extra hour if there is something more 'honest' to be done.
Tight-Lipped - Gossip is unacceptable, and the repeating of secrets is a betrayal so deep even Emma cannot stand it. She is a girl against judgement (except when it comes to laziness) and speaking of others while they are not present to defend themselves. Peers who find themselves chatting about such-and-such are likely to be met with scorn. In the same line, Emma is a very decent listener who can be trusted to not share what she has been told.
Morality - Acceptance runs hard through Emma's veins, built from years of church-rearing and years of intolerance faced to her. Everyone is who they are, unchanging and unique, and none should be set apart for how they were born. The girl is imbued with a hardy work ethic as well, believing in helping others and bettering the world through a good day's sweat and tears. She tends to believe that there is good in all people, even those who seem to have none, and forgiveness is a great gift.
Frightened - Unfortunately, some childhood experiences have led Emma into an occasionally terrifying world. The dark scares her, not in itself but for what it may be concealing. Shadows have chased her too long to just ignore approaching blackness. The eerie creeping feelings and hair standing up at the back of her neck, she may freeze or she may run, but one can be assured there will be a reaction. With her nerves humming as often as they are, Emma is also an easy target for pranks and is easily startled by entirely innocent events.
Use Me, Abuse Me - The combination of work ethic, innocence and trust within Emma does mix to make something a bit darker. Although she is not aware of it herself, the poor girl is very easy to use. Promises are kept and hands and lent without hesitation, and if this realization falls into less innocent hands there are ways to abuse Emma's kindness. She may never notice herself, but will give you the shirt off her back without anything in return, and perhaps that is exactly what you wanted...
The Weapon
Vicious & Violent - Zothikos is something of a vicious and spiteful character. It enjoys conflict, especially the bloody kind, and revels in seeing others split before it. It takes very little reason to get the weapon riled and begging for bloodshed.
Vengeful - If Zothikos perceives someone as having harmed Emma or itself, it will whisper urgings in its wielder's ear with a hissing and multitudinous tone. The betrayal may have been slight, but any at all trespasses are to be punished. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and in every situation where it had been slighted.
Arrogant - For all the weapon speaks of vengeance, it may not honestly believe that much harm can be done. It is perhaps a throwback to hydras' tendency to survive "killing" blows, but not much is perceived as a threat to this previous monster. Even against insurmountable odds, Zothikos will urge action and fully believe that the enemy shall be defeated.
Protective - Often the most common reason for revenge, Zothikos has a deeper feeling of honor and loyalty. This urge to protect stems further than the physical body, but to companions and ideas as well. Battles are to be won en masse, not alone, and the weapon will do whatever it can to assist those that hold some importance.
Hedonistic - It's a little difficult to be a weapon. Pleasures of the flesh and body are hard to come by, and so Zothikos is often led to live vicariously through Emma. It will suggest ill deeds to draw some pleasure out of the situation, and enjoyment on Emma's part is as close as it can come to its own. Whether it be for gluttony or leisure, it is likely that the weapon will be consumed with lust.
Determined - Failure is not an option. Whether outnumbered or outsmarted, Zothikos will always relentlessly push for success. No problem is too great or enemy too large that it cannot be defeated, there simply may be some planning undone or a hidden weakness. There is no 'cannot', there is only 'did not try'.

Emma was somewhat ostracized by her peers and misunderstood by her family for her tendency to see shapes and entities that "weren't really there". She appeared to have a fear of the dark, and her ability to feel a paranormal presence often left her fleeing. When she was approached initially, she did not entirely understand the implications of being a Hunter, but during the meta experienced enough to desire the destruction of all things paranormal.
Weapon Ability
Given a hydra's tendency to regenerate, Zothikos can release a jolt of healing energy that feels like waves beneath the target's skin. It can duplicate flesh and thus heal wounds from scratches to broken bones with the potential to regenerate entire limbs in later training.

Clothing Style/Colours: Artist's design! Pants and skirts are both fine, as long as they remain modest. For colors I was thinking gold, but let's be honest, I'm terrible at color theory...
Extra: Not the average slim and slender girl-- not overweight, but curvy with child-bearing hips and a healthy build. She's a farm girl, well-fed and strong... and also rather short.
