A certain Noir Knight was sitting impatiently at a diner in Dawn Ciry within the Noir Kingdom. "Geez what on earth is taking that Creep so long!?" Tokiya said to himself as he tapped the table with the tip of his finger repeatedly in annoyance. "Okay sure you pick the place to meet and what your late!? Just great I want this mission to go smoothly but how can it when my partner isn't here when we need to discuss about this recruit campaign!?" Tokiya said out loud to himself as he sighed heavily. The day before both Tokiya and Jake had received a mission to go on a Recruitment Campaign to gather some new recruits for Noir. But of all Noir Knights Jake was the one who had to be his partner. "Seriously!? It just had to be that creep Jake of all people. Can the higher-ups seriously not see that we DON'T get along at all!?" Tokiya thought as he thought about how this whole thing even started to begin with. "Well that creep better have his list of attributes ready and where we should look. . . If he doesn't I just might end up murdering him. . ." Tokiya thought as he was deep in thought as he waited for his partner to show up. . .

Jake stifled a yawn as he wandered the streets. He... really wasn't a morning person. He looked around, bleary-eyed, trying to locate the diner. Who's idea was it to pick a diner as the meet-up place, and why the hell in the morning?!
... Oh.
He paused as he scratched his head. Ugh, this was all that stupid kid's fault. Constantly bickering and saying how they had to get all the preparations done fast. He honestly didn't see what the rush was. Only to shut him up, he threw out the name of the first place he thought of and that they'd meet first thing in the morning so they could discuss what they'd be looking for in the recruits.
Then, of course, he overslept, completely forgot, got questioned by Farland, remembered, hastily scribbled down a list and left, without even eating breakfast. Now he couldn't even remember the name of that stupid diner and- oh wait, there it was. And there was that little midget. Damn it, he was hoping the kid would of forgotten. No wonder it was so quiet this morning.
Cursing, he strode towards the diner and flung the door open, ignoring the heads turning at his presence. I swear, I'm gonna give that Grand Bishop a piece of my mind after this, he muttered.
Making his way to where Tokiya sat, he whipped out a piece of paper and slapped it on the table.
"Alright, since we're in Dawn City right now, and we have to go to 3 different cities to recruit, I say we head straight to Crescent Harbour right now, since it's not too far from here, and see if we can find some people to recruit there. We can discuss attributes on the way."

As Tokiya was waiting at the diner there was suddenly a loud slam on the table. "Well it's about time you got here you slacker. . ." Tokiya said as he looked up at Jake. "And speaking of Towns who said YOU were in charge anyways? If were going somewhere I say we go to Aurora since it's on the way to Ravensfield and then we can head to Apollo from there." Tokiya said with attitude in disagreement to going to Cresent Harbor."Attributes we can discuss on the way to Aurora since it is on the outskirts of town." Tokiya said as he awaited impatiently in disagreement awaiting for a response to his partner.

... Of course.
Jake closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, mentally counting to 10. The last thing he needed was for the two of them to pummel each other to death, end up incapable to go look for recruits and get an earful from Farland. But, this kid! How he wanted to strangle him. But... at least, from the ones he listed, two of them were the same as the ones he'd written down. If anything, that was a start.
"Okay, look here." He grabbed a napkin and the pen used for writing down orders, and scribbled down the 7 town names that they were allowed to choose from. "We're given 7 towns to choose from. We need to narrow it down to 3."
He circled the three that he had personally chosen.
Ravensfield
Cresent Harbour
Apollo
Throwing the pen down, he crossed his arms and glared at Tokiya.
"Luckily, we both agree on Ravensfield and Apollo. That just leaves one."
He looked down at the ground, and spotted a coin on the floor. He bent down to pick it up, and flicked it towards Toki.
"We'll leave it to chance. Heads = Crescent Harbour, Tails = Aurora"

"Okay let's just get this over with." Tokiya said irritated. Tokiya caught the coin that Jake found on the floor which he threw towards him. Tokiya flipped the coin hoping it would be tails so they don't have to go to where Jake had picked. . .But thank god that they agreed on 2 places.

He glanced at the coin and smirked.
"Heads. Looks like I win. Now to figure out how many to recruit..."
He stared at the coin. They were only allowed to recruit up to 4. And deciding anything verbally... probably wasn't going to happen. Best to leave everything up to luck. How he was supposed to do this with a coin... he had NO idea.
Picking it up, he tossed it a couple times before figuring out what to do.
"Uh, ok. So the three places we go to are Ravensfield, Cresent Harbour and Apollo. Let's figure out how many we're recruiting, and where we're recruiting them from."

Tokiya glared at Jake irritatingly. "Yeah whatever you jerk. Okay since we now know that we have 2 recruits to recruit. Now we have to figure out which town to go to recruit them. . ." Tokiya stared at the coin trying to figure out how he should decide on which town they should head to find their first recruit. Tokiya flipped it a few times before figuring out what to do with the coin.

He rolled his eyes. Ugh, even when he was TRYING to be nice, the guy still pissed him off.
He looked down at the sheet.
"Hmm, Cresent Harbour. Ha, guess we're going there first as planned," he laughed. It seemed he had the upper hand this morning. "Now to figure out where the we find the second recruit, and we can be on our way."
Not a moment too soon. He could feel several eyes on them, wondering what the heck they were doing.
Scribbling the name of the 3 towns on a separate napkin, he ripped them into 3 strips and placed them in the formation of a triangle. Taking the pencil, he spun it, watching it spin and land on Ravensfield.
"Well, that makes the last town. Guess we can skip over Apollo."
Picking up the paper he first slapped down on the table, he glanced at it before staring at Tokiya.
"Come on, let's get out of here."
He shoved the sheet at Tokiya before heading out.

"Mm."
He took the paper without much word, as he tried to figure out if they were going in the right direction. The idiot he was, he didn't bring a map. Well, Cresent Harbour was just a few miles south of Dawn City, and south is... down, right? Well, whatever. They'd know they were in the right place once they saw ships and such.
Affirmed they were going in the right direction (or at least, in his mind), he took a peek at what Tokiya had scribbled down.
"Long hair, huh," he mumbled. It was probably safe to assume both of them were recruiting girls, unless the kid had some kinky fetish he didn't know about.
...He shuddered.
Looking once again at the list, he scribbled the other 8 attributes together with the pen he took from the diner (no one was going to miss it anyways), and flipped the coin he had with him again. Hell, they were probably going to end up with some retarded-looking recruits with the way they were leaving everything to chance.
... Oh well.

Do you seriously have something against people who aren't tanned?" Tokiya said grumpily as he tossed the coin in the air to see what to see was picked next. As Tokiya was flipping the coin he suddenly noticed they were going the wrong way. . . "Dude seriously how do you survive when your sense of direction is terrible?" Tokiya said pointing in the opposite direction. . .

... Dammit.
"S-shut up," he muttered lamely, getting flustered, but he had already been found out anyways. To prevent from potentially embarrassing himself even more, he snatched the list from Tokiya and buried his nose in it, pretending to be deeply engrossed in the details. "And, well, no. It'd just be NICE to have people of different skin colouration, okay?"
He pulled the list away and examined it properly. So... for the first recruit, it would be a girl, with long blonde hair and tan. Okay, well, that wasn't so bad, nor hard to find.
(Cue long journey filled with bickering and Tokiya preventing Jake from wandering off the face of the earth)
It took a while, but they managed to reach Cresent Harbour in one piece (relatively), and in... somewhat good time. The sun hadn't gone down yet, at least.
"Alright, let's just go find this person and lea-"
Before he could finish his sentence, he caught sight of a girl with long blonde flowing hair, skin as tan as the desert sand (he sucks at metaphors, okay).
He nudged Tokiya. "Is that who we're looking for?"

"Oh please sure you are. Don't think just by concentrating on the recruits details will that change that you have no sense of direction."Tokiya said smirking at him as they walked towards Crescent Harbor."Oh sure I think you have a discrimination about other skin coloration besides tan and plus YOU are tanned!" Tokiya said irritatingly.
A few hours later. . .
( With a long journey of bickering between the two knights )
It took a while but the two bickering knights arrived safe and sound in one piece to Crescent Harbor. "Fine. fine but there's no way we're going to find he-"Tokiya said but his sentence got cut short by the sight of girl with long blonde flowing hair, whom had skin which was tanned. Tokiya felt a nudge from his partner. " Oh yeah. I think she's the one but how do we know there may be others with the same attributes right?" Tokiya said wondering if the girl standing before them is the correct girl they needed to recruit."Well I guess we won't know until someon asks. . ." Tokiya thouht as he approached the girl standing there. "Hello there I'm Tokiya a Knight for the Noir army and I was wondering are there any other girls with long flowing blonde hair like yourself?" Tokiya said trying not to be rude to the girl.
"No I'm the only one here with long flowing blonde hair in this town. But what's it to you? Why do you even want to know?"The girl said asking suspiciously."Oh really then seems like your the one we are looking for! We came here looking to recruit you to join the Noir army. Would you be by any chance interested in joining? We really do hope you would say yes to our offer." Tokiya said kindly trying not to scare the supicious girl.

Jake could only stare in horror at what Tokiya was doing. Just... what the HELL was he doing? He just wanted to kick him. The stupid kid was coming on too strong. The poor girl was probably gonna report them for harassment. Before Toki could utter another word, Jake stepped in front of him, stopping him from speaking. He reached into his vest, and pulled out a sheet, showing it to the girl.
"What my partner is trying to say, is that we're both knights from the Noir army. We're both on a recruitment campaign, and Crescent Harbour was on our list of places to visit, as the Noir fleet often docks here, so it's an ideal place to find new recruits.
The girl frowned. "But I've never fought before... A-and why me? Why not someone else?"
He put a hand on her shoulder and smiled. "Because you are capable. And we need trustworthy civilians in the army, to have a connection with those outside the army. We serve in the army to keep the civilians safe. He handed the paper to her. "At least think about it, alright?"
He ignored Toki's glares and continued walking. He knew what he did was risky, and there was a chance she would refuse, but from the look in her eyes, he knew, no, he was CERTAIN, she wouldn't turn them down. Any minute now. Any-
"U-um..."
Right on cue.
"I... I'm not sure what I can do, but... I want to help, and..."
Jake smiled and put up a hand to stop her. "We're the ones who came to you. We'd be more than happy to have you with us.
He smirked at Tokiya. Looks like he won this round. "Now onto Ravensfield!" he cried, pulling out the list of attributes once more.
(And so the girl joined them on their epic quest journey and they went on their way to Ravensfield)
