A Quick Summary
They just wanted to see their mother again. Ed and Al lost their mom to a mysterious disease, and their dad had already walked away from them, leaving them essentially as orphans. Driven by grief, the two decided that they were going to bring their mother back, no matter the cost, and despite the illegality of the action. The two apprenticed under Izumi Curtis, a tough, ruthless, but great teacher. Coming back from their apprenticeship, the two thought they were ready to test out their theory of bringing their mom back. But when they actually attempted the transmutation, it backfired on them. Al lost his whole body in the accident, and Ed lost a leg, and then lost an arm binding Al's soul to a suit of armor. Roy Mustang then came along seeking two highly talented alchemists, but was surprised to find two boys, each with fire in their eyes, and a look of determination. He left with them a proposal to join the State Alchemist program, where they could possibly find a way to get their bodies back. Ed, determined, was outfitted with auto mail, and after performing transmutation for the first time after the accident, found that he could do it without a transmutation circle. Surprised and bolstered by this, Edward passed his state alchemy exam, and was bestowed the title, "Fullmetal Alchemist". Now the two brothers travel, in search of the Philosopher's Stone, searching for a way to recover what they once lost.

What's going on?

-East City - Something is going on with the weather. Our heroines are headed there as we speak. Mustang's meeting with the Storm Alchemist
-Brigg's Fortress - Oliver's about to go on an assignment towards East City

Point in Story

-Right before the Liore/Reole whatever you wanna call it storyline.




We'll be following the original storyline somewhat, and we'll be following the adventures of Ed and Al, as they look for a way to find their original bodies. Don't be discouraged though, if you find that you think that there's nothing that you can contribute to the storyline. There's ALWAYS something.
