My name is Winry Rockbell. I am 15 years old. You want to know a little about me? When I was little, my parents, doctors on the battlefield, were killed in the Ishbal War by Scar. I'm not sure I'm ready to forgive him yet, I'll say that much, but I don't condemn him necessarily. Since my parents' death, I've been living with my grandmother, Pinako Rockbell, and my dog, Den. When Ed and Al had their accident, I worked with my grandmother to create automail prosthetics for Ed, and since then I've been working hard to make the best automail that I can...Especially for him. How bout who I am? I'm usually cheerful and outgoing, prone to being spazzy at certain times, especially when it involves automail. I'm pretty much obsessed with automail, you know. Give me a reason and I'll make anything out of it! But...Don't damage it...Or else. Did I mention I love teasing Ed about his height? Here's what I have to offer. My father left Ed and me when we were little kids, leaving my mother to raise us both by herself...Our mother died of an illness several years later, devastating Ed, me, and the Rockbells. And from that death came the greatest mistake that Ed and I have ever made: an attempt to resurrect our mother using alchemy, which is a taboo and a sin. In the process, Ed lost his arm and leg and I lost...Well, my entire body. My soul inhabits a full suit of armor, attached by only a rune that Ed drew with his blood. Now the two of us are on a quest to recover the philosopher's stone and regain our original bodies - this time, without having to resurrect anything.How bout who I am? I might look intimidating on the outside, but I'm not, really! I'm a nice person. I'm protective of Ed and everyone else I love, and I try not to hurt anyone if I can help it. My level head often balances out my older brother's...Erm...Stubbornness, and like him I have a strong moral sense. Here's what I have to offer. I'm quite good with alchemy, even though I'm not a state alchemist and I still have to use a transmutation circle. Due to my armor body, I'm a very effective shield and fighter in combat. This is me.
