Musou Orochi 2 Pomotional Video #3Koei Warriors A demo presentation of the game was held last week in Japan, and from interviews with the producers there, it is revealed that Dodomeki and Gyuki are also still playable in this latest game. However, they are not supposed to be counted in the official 'over 120' character roster count as they are considered bonus characters, which might signify that the actual character roster may reach 130. Downloadable Contents are also confirmed and will be published starting January 2012. Added contents will include new scenarios and costumes. ~~~~~  KoeiWarriors It is recently revealed that Warriors Orochi 3 (Musou Orochi 2), will have collaborative downloadable contents (DLC) with popular gaming magazines in Japan. They are to be distributed through download codes that will be printed on certain game magazines that are published around the week of Warriors Orochi 3's release in Japan, which is next week on 22 December 2011. Some of the known collaborative DLCs include a special weapon and costume set for Da Ji from Dengeki magazine, and a similar set for Lu Xun and Gracia from Famitsu. It is unknown whether these DLCs will be available for overseas versions should the title's overseas localization be fully confirmed. Meanwhile, Famitsu has reviewed Warriors Orochi 3 with the score 9-8-8-9, for a total of 8.5 out of 10. The reviewers generally praised the game's abundant contents. However they give caution to the tediousness of trying to complete the game's replay value, especially of building bonds between characters.

Older Announcements of WO3  KoeiWarriors This week's Famitsu has revealed another new character for Warriors Orochi 3. The legendary hero who is known for actually slaying Orochi, 素戔嗚 Susanoo, is the latest Warriors Orochi-exclusive character to be added. Warriors Orochi 3 will be released in 22 December 2011 for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in Japan. Overseas release has also been strongly hinted although there is no official confirmation yet. ~~~~~~~ Warriors Orochi Promotional VideoKoeiWarriors KOEI-Tecmo has released a new promotion trailer for their upcoming crossover Warriors game, Warriors Orochi 3 (Musou Orochi 2), which shows various contents of the game. It is also confirmed that more WO-original characters (like Sun Wukong & Himiko) as well as the DW7XL & SW3Z/XL cut characters (Zuo Ci, Ishikawa Goemon, Miyamoto Musashi, Sasaki Kojiro) are also returning here. Warriors Orochi 3 is currently confirmed to be released on 22 December 2011 for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in Japan. ~~~~  KoeiWarriors This week's Famitsu has specific new info on Warriors Orochi 3 (Musou Orochi 2), which confirms the guest characters that are appearing from non-main Warriors games. The confirmed characters are Achilles from Warriors: Legends of Troy, Jeanne d'Arc from Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War, and Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden. Some stages are also modified in accordance to these guest characters' appearances. For instance, Greek buildings along with the Trojan Horse can be seen in Nanzhong, a medieval European castle is placed on Mt. Dingjun, and part of a modern Japanese city appears at Anegawa. ~~~~~ KoeiWarriors A leak of store pamphlet for Warriors Orochi 3 (Musou Orochi 2) has shown that new characters from latest DW & SW expansions will be also appearing here. Some returning WO-specific mystic characters are also confirmed. The newly confirmed characters are as following From Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends: Pang De, Guo Jia, Wang Yi From Samurai Warriors 3 Z / Xtreme Legends: Fukushima Masanori, Aya Gozen, Gracia From Warriors Orochi 2 (MO Maou Sairin): Fu Xi, Nu Wa, Taigong Wang This crossover Warriors game will have more than 120 characters in total. This will be released on 22 December 2011 in Japan. Overseas release has not been announced yet, but it is very likely since this game will be also released for Xbox 360 other than the PlayStation 3. ~~~~  2011-10-19 16:46:47 CDT KoeiWarriors Another new character for Musou Orochi 2 (Warriors Orochi 3) has been revealed in Famitsu. ナタ(哪吒) Nezha is a Taoist deity featured in Fengshen Yanyi and Journey to the West, where he also had connections with Sun Wukong in the latter story. This week's batch also introduced Wonder, a new attack type which Takenaka Hanbei is part of, as a new addition to the 3 existing attack types (Power, Speed, Technic). Wonder type specializes in countering enemy attacks and dealing critical attacks from there. Pang De is also shown to be wielding the cudgel in MO2 screenshots, which gives a hint that the declonings that happen in Dynasty Warriors NEXT might be also applied here. Musou Orochi 2 will be released in Japan on 22 December 2011 for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360. ~~~ Warriors Orochi 3 Promotion Video(Youtube)KoeiWarriors The first official Japanese promotional video for Musou Orochi 2 (Warriors Orochi 3) has been uploaded to our YouTube Channel. The game will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan on December 22, 2011. ~~~  2011-10-05 16:20:48 CDT KoeiWarriors More new information on Musou Orochi 2 (most likely to be Warriors Orochi 3) has appeared in Famitsu in just a week after its revelation. The next brand-new character to be revealed is 酒呑童子 Shuten-doji, the ruler of the Oni, demons in Japanese folklores. The storyline takes place in the merged world that took a peaceful life after Orochi's defeat. However some years later, the appearance of a giant Phantom Serpent, Youja, as well as the re-appearance of Taira no Kiyomori who then gathered the phantom army, brought chaos to the world even worse than before. With the help of the moon princess Kaguya, the last remaining generals, Sima Zhao, Ma Chao and Takenaka Hanbei head back to the past to rescue their fallen comrades. Pang De has also been sighted, which gives the possibility that the rest of DW7XL characters will be also appearing here. Musou Orochi 2 will be released on 22 December 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan. Overseas release is not confirmed yet however is very likely, especially considering the multiplatform with 360.
