Hayyo!! Happy Halloween everyone!!!
I thought I'd make a post just to reminisce on the good times we used to have on Gaia.
I remember during the holidays, I would spend a lot of my time going on Gaia to participate in the seasonal events they would have. It was fun competing with fellow friends to see who got what items and how many of each, stuff like that. But gosh, it seems Gaia has changed because everything is hard to follow now and I don't get this year's seasonal event at all... but anywhoo.
Gaia for me was like a release during junior high. I was able to explore new things in such an artsy culture. Grape Juice was the perfect guild for that, we were full of fun and randomness. A lot of the people in this guild inspired me to pick up drawing and as a result, I'm somewhat familiar with the skill. Even though I have since stopped drawing, there will be those times where I feel like sitting down with some paper and pencils and just start drawing whatever.
I connected with some great people in this guild. I'm kinda sad that I haven't spoken with them in a while. I remember wasting SO MANY nights staying up late on Windows Live Messenger on a group chat having the most bizarre conversations and drawing countless figures with my stylus. Then we'd all feel bad and be like "hey we shoulda posted this all in Grape Juice... oops". :I
Seeing as how a lot of us have stepped into a new phase of life, I'm not surprised not too many of us (including myself) use Gaia anymore. But hey, if anyone is willing to jump back on the revival wagon, I'd be more than happy to participate just for kicks 3nodding
