Hey. sad I don't think I can do this. at least not this year. i'll make a big plan for it next year. er..i dunno. sometime. not this one.
i'm not good at it anyway. neutral
it starts tomorrow, and i don't have a single clue how to begin. my big problem is organization. without it, nothing works, ya know. i can't do it. if you wanna help me out, you're free to PM me, but...i dunno.
just...not this time.
it's not like i have other s**t going on, but..i just can't.

If you don't feel like you can do it this year, it's not a life ending decision. Maybe a break's even a good thing, you know? Gives you more time to think of something great for next year.

But perhaps try writing for a few days? Maybe you'll surprise yourself.
You never know.

Even if you don't get to that magical 50k, don't worry about it --- write as much as you can! It's always a good basis for a story so when next year comes, you know exactly what you want to write! 3nodding

Actually, the first year I did Nano, I finished it but scrapped 90% of what I did anyway. So disheartening! But, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my story, so it eventually got finished the next year. Just saying that even if you don't get to 50k, just keep writing and maybe you'll find that magical plot for you! It's not a race, it's your own goal for yourself, you know? <3

I'm kind of in the same spot. It's my first year doing this and October got so busy I haven't even had a chance to really do a whole lot. I figure I'll come up with a good outline this week and just start writing and see what I can do. If I can't make the 50k at the end of the month then at least I still tried. smile

Do what you can and if that doesn't include writing then it doesn't include writing. It shouldn't feel like an obligation, in my eyes.

Yeah, my outline is just a mixture of things. xd I was pretty busy in October, then of course procrastinated on my outline thinking that I had enough time. Whoops! I'll figure it out, though. I have a rough sketch of the plot in my head, so hopefully that will be enough to figure out what I want!

I agree with Supi. It shouldn't be an obligation! It's something you do in your spare time anyway. /nodnod
