Alright, so there were a lot of correct answers. Actually there were way more than I ever expected having been led to believe my clues were too hard. So…you guys are all just really good at riddles! ((Or I’m not too great at writing them, let’s just go with you’re all clever though.)) Next time I do one of these I’m making them harder!

The correct answer was a “pit of despair.” ((Meaning the entire game was pretty much a bunch of puns.))

As promised here is a breakdown of the clues:

1. It exists in three segments. (Three words)

2. One piece is of. (Literally, one of the three pieces was the word “of”)

3. Inside of fruit one piece may dwell. (Fruit pits.)
Like a well, like a gorge. (Also types of pits.)
It grows to the core not to the sky. (It goes towards the Earth’s core and not up to the sky.)

4. A part sounds not unlike “this bear.” (It rhymes with despair.)
It is sadness. (A synonym for despair.)
It is hopelessness. (Yet another synonym for despair.)

I hope you all at least got a giggle out of this. Now on to the actual list of folks with the correct answer, because there were so many with the entire answer right I did not accept any partial answers. Any answers submitted without the form were disqualified.
