would it be a good eye catcher if i were to make my character fqall for someone even though like 4 chapters ago he watched his wife die? along with his soon?

You might want to have a few more scenes where something else occurs (a subplot), but if you feel like the story can go on from there, go with it! I think one of the problems here may be that the story might ending too soon.

see in the plot, the character goes through alot of personal changes and he is tryign to avenge his wife and sons death, but he is startng to look at other wonmen and steering his mind into attraction once more, i had him trying to seem hateful to the world, but i found thta hard to write like, this novel i am writing is fantasy-action-romance. haha. so i hope it works out.
