if i say it loud enough i will hopefully convince myself rolleyes

no more of this!...User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

last week i weighed 155lb, right now i weigh 148lb, i haven't done any exercise, but i have eaten healthily all week, no over processed food, i often have a ready meal for my lunch before i leave for work on this shift but not this week, i've had brown rice and veggie concoctions everyday which i've really enjoyed, and i've had porridge with added fruit when i've got home. I'm always so hungry when i get in from work!
I get home at 10.30PM on this shift. Our lunch break is at 6.20, i have a sandwich and a yoghurt(generally) then, it's a long time to go between meals, especially when i'm on my feet in the cold.
i do tend to eat things i shouldn't when i get home though, simply because i'm so hungry, toast smothered in peanut butter, cheese on toast, or worse still i'll cook something carb laden, so i'm proud of myself with my porridge endeavours this week 3nodding
i'm hungry again now as it's 3 1/2 hours since i had my porridge, i shall have a couple of Krisp rolls and some camomile tea and NOT the caramel wafer and hot chcocolate that i can hear calling me from the kitchen cupboard ninja and see what the scales have to tell me tomorrow morning.

i am guilty of weighing myself every day, i'm not at all obsessive about it or anything, i'm just intrigued by now my wieght fluctuates, i can gain up to 8 lbs in my pre-menstrual week, i didn't realise this until i bought some scales! then i watch it come off again during the 5 days of my period, or as it has this week, i've lost even more..
see i'm totally expecting my wieght to go up again next week, regardless of what i eat, this is how my body seems to work, i'm more likely to lose weight during my period than at any other time, even if i haven't gained it by retaining water the week beforehand, but it always goes back on again afterwards, strange that confused

Well, only time will tell...

hmm, something else i've thought of, i've had a good low fat week, i haven't used butter in my sandwiches all week, for the simple reason that i finished it up last Saturday and i haven't been shopping to buy any more yet(lazy cow that i am) same reason that i haven't had any yoghurts for my packed lunch this week either, i've been having a handful of dried figs instead(yum) but i was bad today and had one of my caramel wafers twisted
tomorrow i'm taking couscous to work for my break( as i have no bread left now either rofl ) and i shall fill my little tub with dried cranberries to have for dessert

if i can get my lazy butt to the supermarket over the weekend i may get a bit more variety in my food next week, i'd better do or i'm going to starve! seriously empty fridge and cupboards now rolleyes

still the same weight, just waiting for it to start going up again now though!
Haven't got any food shopping done yet as i slept into the afternoon today as i went to bed at 4AM again rolleyes
I'm seriously going to have to set my alarm and force myself to get up early tomorrow so i can sleep before work on Monday morning
I'm going to have baked sweet potatoes and veggies for my evening meal today, then do some shopping tomorrow so i can have some meat!

Well i'm still wieghing in at 148lb, the scales haven't decided to be mean to me again yet!
i was proud of myself when i did my grocery shop today, LOTS of healthy stuff, wholemeal(wheat) bread, free range eggs, salad for my sandwiches, high fibre cereal, skimmed milk.
i made my muffins that i have for break at work on this week's shift with wholemeal flour too

the camera on my phone's rubbish isn't it?
they look much nicer than that actually, and i have put sugar on top of them but you can blame my oven for that, it burns them on one side, even though it's fan assisted, so i took evasive action!
they taste good anyway cos i've just scoffed one now redface
got to test them, they might be horrible ninja

now i'm clock watching as it's time i was in bed, so i'll have some hot milk and burrow under the duvet and see you ladies tomorrow biggrin

seems like i've definitely put a few pounds back on, only to be expected, i'm suprised they stayed off for as long as they did, i'm not discouraged though, this 8 lb drop then re-gain is a normal thing for me, but it stayed off for over a week for the first time so i'm quite upbeat about this. i seem to have put about 5 lb back on, i shall keep an eye on the scales and see what happens this week!
I have been fighting off a virus this past week, i've felt sluggish and tired all week, i slept for 11 hours on Friday night! and my tummy's been a bit unruly over the weekend and my throats been sore so things aren't quite right at the moment, hopefully i've averted any illness though, no sore throat twinges today at least.

this week i have the trial of trying to get myself to go to bed earlier confused
i failed miserably last time i was on lates, vowing to go to bed at 12.30 but still being up at 4AM every day evil
hopefully i'll show a bit more backbone this time around...

I'm doing the same thing this week, and I can tell it's going to be really, really hard... I have to get up at 6am on Saturday and Sunday, so I really need to turn my sleep cycle around a little... But I just can't sleep before midnight sad

Irregular sleep patterns are just no help at all with weight management either sad
right now it's nearly 1AM, but i'm planning on heading off to bed soon, once the washing machine's finished and i've drunk my camomile tea, if anyone sees me still online at ungodly hours this week feel free to shout at me through Y!M 3nodding

well i did another good and healthy food shop today, only bought one naughty thing, i'm still eating far more whole food, i'm noticing the benefit from that too, things are moving along nicely!
I'm going to concerntrate on eating more unprocessed foods, thus forcing myself to prepare more dishes myself! i'm going to cut out red meat for a while, just stick with fish and probably turkey as it's cheaper than chicken and go for it with the wholegrain stuff, i even bought some wholemeal pasta today, not eaten that for years because i didn't like it much! let's hope it's improved since rolleyes

rolleyes bit of a stalemate at the moment, been quite poorly for the last couple of days, the virus that i've been fighting off for the past 2 weeks hit me with a vengence yesterday, so i've spent most of the weekend asleep, but my glands finally feel less like a pair of golfballs under my chin and my nose has dried up a bit, so hopefully it's going to clear off and leave me alone confused
Weights hovering around 150/152lb, which i'm ok with, if it goes over the 11 stone mark again i shall sulk, but hopefully it wont.
With any luck, tomorrow i'll feel up to venturing out for some provisions, will do me some good to get out in the sunshine, they keep saying it's going to be nice tomorrow, so ..we shall see!

Are you happy with that? Or do you want to make some goals? It's a good place to start!
PostPosted: Mon Mar 27, 2006 2:10 pm

oh fawN i don't know, i'm not really happy with the situation, but i find it so hard to make myself do anything, it's not just my weight, i need to get my whole life sorted out so i can feel happier about my place in the scheme of things.
i'm a person who puts things off, i always have been, so i'm my own worst enemy in a situation like this rolleyes

i need something to give me a boost and get me in the right mental state for positive change, and knowing me i shall sit around waiting for that boost to appear, instead of getting off my butt and creating it myself mad
