((If you do not have Bells then Gaia gold is acceptable. The exchange rate is 1 to 1 so if an item is selling for 50 Bells then it is also 50 Gaia gold.

Garden Department

When planting a tree roll one d20 (20 sided die). Getting a number 3 means the tree has wilted and died, all other numbers means the tree will grow into adult. Note: This goes for fruits you plant as well as tree saplings bought from an NPC. Also you must have a shovel to plant anything. And lastly, watering a fruit tree in it's sprout or sapling stages will give it a permanent +1 when shaking for fruit.

1 can of paint will be enough for 1 roof or the house minus the trim. Painting the trim (door, window frame, mailbox and other wood bits) is free and can be a different color from roof or house.
