Welcome ladies! The new role-play begins!
The year is 1889. You have been sent to a boarding school in london and there seems to be many secrets, darkness, and insanity that not anyone quite understands yet. The mood is dark and mysterious and the school is a vast gothic manor full of victorian wonders. I will not be starting this role-play, this one is up to you guys to completely control.

(Look! I'm back!) I smell investigation time. Just to get the right setting and area of London back in 1889. To the Google-And-Wiki time!
In the meantime, there will most likely be another thread to completely give the setting/start the roleplaying in the right direction--however, the boarding school will need a name. So, darlings, any ideas for a name? Remember, 1889 setting.

Oh boy, as much as I love the 1800's I'm not to aware of the happenings back then. Looks like I'll have some investigating to do =p

Thus far, I have only found two references during the late 1800s London. One is the fashion of women (seems of middle-to-upper class) located Here. The other, which may be important for the setting and backgrounds for all characters, is the map of greater London INCLUDING the approximate class locations. This map.

With the permission of the captains--and I hope so 'cause I already started--I will do my best to create detailed backdrop of the Academy-Yet-To-Be-Named. Meaning, I will be writing detailed description of the school itself, the halls, classes, dormitories, etc.
I like writing that kind of stuff (and I am going to be seriously bored at work this week and I need something to do while waiting for documents.)
In the meantime, please feel free to post in the classrooms or any other threads.
And don't forget to place up your charrie's profile in the thread so we have at least an idea! ^_^
