Have you heard that she is a Born-Again-Christian? It's kind of scary. I've read almost all her books. I don't know the names of them, I just know that I haven't read them yet. Of course, I may not get a chance since most stores sold out of her books when the news broke last summer. I almost passed out when I heard it.

Yeah, and she's totally renounced the evils of angsty vampire fiction and is now writing books about... Christ, the Lord... I enjoyed the first three books out of the Vampire Chronicles but can't stand any of the rest. She just got a bit...odd...imho with the stories and the characters. Now instead of worshipping Lestat, she worships Jesus! twisted

Psycat Now instead of worshipping Lestat, she worships Jesus! twisted A blasphemy isn't it? eek Now seriously. I love Vampire Chronicles but the way the characters were developing lately made me worry. It's better she stops writing about Lestat now, before he becomes a missionary and starts preaching at goth clubs.

I really dug her stuff. I stopped at Queen of the Damned and never got around to continuing, though I did also read the Vampire Armand and Blackwood Farm. How many books I gotta go before I close that gap between Queen and Armand?

I love Vampire Chronicles but the way the characters were developing lately made me worry. It's better she stops writing about Lestat now, before he becomes a missionary and starts preaching at goth clubs. She has stated she never wants to write about vampires again, effectively bringing the Chronicles to an end in any way. Her new work seems to be good, however, if you're into Jesus and all.

I personally enjoy the Vampire Chronicles and have sort of got into the witch series, but didn't as much as with the Vampire Chronicles, which I loved and ave seen Interview with a Vampire and Queen of the Damned, of the two movies I think Interview with a Vampire was way better. Also, I'm sort of glad she's now writing about Jesus and more religios stuff because the Vampire Chronicles were a way of her dealing with the lose of her son, but now she's sort of moving on and I'm glad, even though it means no more Vampire or witch chronicles. She'll always be a good writer to me.
