Science Lab

Just like all the other classrooms on the third floor, this room is set up with six tables that can seat three students comfortably and a long table in the front for the professor. This lab, however, has a red closet filled with Bunsen burners, tubes, beakers of all sizes, microscopes, thick and sturdy plastic gloves, and other miscellaneous items. Close to the closet was a life-sized model of the human female skeleton, all the bones labeled with small numbers. On top of the closet rested a plastic model of the human brain with different colors.

Behind the professor’s table was a blackboard with chalk and against the wall was a hand-illustrated poster of the 56 known elements in a table format with the header “Periodic Table.”

In the back of the classroom were two large sinks and a counter that lined the back wall.

Classes are an hour-and-a-half long and lab works are two hours, giving that extra half-hour to set up and clean up.
