Dormitory
The dormitory lies within the second floor of the Academy, containing twenty five rooms. Each room has cherry wood polished planks as the floor and two twin-sized beds, one with a black-with-white-designs bed spread and the other with white-with-black-designs. Each student receives a small wardrobe and a three-tier drawer to place their clothing and whatever else they desire within the room. At the foot of each bed is a black-oak trunk to place in school supplies, textbooks and all other trinkets.
Two desks face the wall with a window in between the two to use for their studies and writings. The walls are decorated with pale-maroon and deep-green floral wallpaper and a full-sized looking glass is perched against the back of the door.
The community bathing room contains nine shower heads that are separated by dark-blue curtains. The walls are decked out in foliage of vines and flowers and the floor was of ceramic ocean-green tiles. Six indoor toilets are also separated by sheets of wood to give personal enclosure.
The common room is in the center of the floor, which is also the first area anyone sees when arriving onto the second floor. Cherry wood polished planks covered the floor with brown and red carpets scattered about. A fireplace made of brick was against the wall; opposite of the three large circular windows. There are also two large tables and three couches; each can fit four students comfortably. A walk-in closet that is reserved for the maids and another small closet beside it that contains paper, ink and quill, cards and various game boards for recreational time.
Students are expected to keep their own rooms clean as well as their space while in the common room. Maids only attend to the floor every third day, but if there are emergencies or something that needs to be attending to immediately, they are to inform the dormitory-madame when appropriate.
Curfew is strictly at 10PM on school-evenings and 11PM on non-school-evenings. Unless possessing a written permission from a professor for that day specifically, all students are to be within their rooms by the curfew time, no exceptions.
